CAPTAIN O'KANE (O'Carolan) harp solo by Anne Crosby Gaudet

- Feel the solitude of gently rolling waves in this beautiful intermediate harp arrangement of Turlough O'Carolan's Captain O'Kane. This traditional Irish tune pairs beautifully with "Mermaid's Tears" and both are written in E minor for intermediate harp. Right hand fingerings and chord symbols have been included throughout the score. The left hand uses 10th patterns and some slightly more advanced rhythms for expressive texture.

My playing was put on hold for a long time, but thanks to running across you and Christy-Lyn, I’m ready to give it another go! You have great videos. Noticed you did the wide intervals in the left hand with an open hand. I don't - is this bad? I have very long hands so that might be helping.

I just looked that up, yes the soundtrack to Fate does use Captain O'Kane
