I love the point at 47-48 min. We've done it wrong so long we think we're right.
As an ex-catholic and now a christian, I feel the exact same way about how the RCC attempted to change the Sabbath & it's rest, & abolish God's feast days. Or how some in the modern USA ppl change the gospel/seed to falsely include the abolishment of the Law.
"We've dong it wrong so long we think we are right".
YHWH/Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He writes the Law on our heart. JEREMIAH 31:31-33
Love that you also properly explain the third temple in your Ezekiel teaching. Hard to come by.
You helped me understand the mustard seed parable and thank you for including it was an Israeli plant. I speak zero Hebrew and atheists use that verse as a literal error in the bible since it is not the biggest plant. Lol they won't accept the literary device of a parable.

What a blessing these teachings are. Why we should never give up on praying for others, and live out what we believe in HIS WORD

I had to listen to parts of this several times. Particularly the parable portion. The visual context of how people did agriculture helps so much.

Agreed. I don’t know if I got all of it. I too grew up with each parable sort of singled out. I think I got most of it, but it’s still pretty abstract.

@GCBI Media The Creator speaks His Word, within His Word; is about His Son, His coming and He is who the Word says He is. To deny The Word and say The Word is a lie, therefore many of us say our Creator is a liar. I'm telling you the truth we have a sickness only The Good Lord can heal. Praise Thee Most High Now and Forever. Keep up the great work, I pray you continue stay obedient to Him as hard as you can , so that you may continue to tell the youth about the Truth of Our Father

Israel, once thought itself to be God's kingdom, until it was captured and destroyed, that is!

The politicians using Jesus to their advantage isn’t as dangerous as purported Christians doing the same thing.

Ntably, Jesus seems to also be saying, "Just because you have condemned homosexuals, doesn't mean that I do", in so far as Jesus never mentions homosexuality in Scripture. Think about it- Jesus made a point of tending to the most sinful as per tradition. If He thought that being homosexual was a sin, He surely would have given us a tax collector, adulterer etc. story about homosexuals. Further PLEASE not, Jesus is the judge, not us. "Judge not lest ye be judged" means that while Hesus judges, we are not worthy to judge- none of us. "There is not one righteous among us, no not one." Prayers.

Very insightful message! I'm really enjoying the GCBI videos, thanks much :) The "steps parables" framework was particularly interesting. But I'm having no success finding any other sources or commentaries supporting this view - do you have any links, for Mt 13 or for the steps and chain category of parables?

13: parables describing “what is success?” Not to be broken into individual messages!

I’m trying with the madregot but it seems so abstract. It’s hard for me to understand.

He could have likened the kingdom of heaven unto kudzu and really got the point across.

If the kingdom of God is the tree and Jesus himself said he is the root (vine) and We are the branches then who are the birds? 🤔

    Jesus and the Kingdom - Matthew 11-13, especially 13. - 1:02:52
Compare Matthew 12 with Mark 3-4.
Comparison of Matthew 12:10-12 to Calvinism, after Calvin's death. (Calvinists tried to out-do Calvin.)
Matthew 12:14, fortunately the Pharisees did not have Twitter accounts.
"Mashal" parable in Matthew 13 has seven steps. It must be studied and understood as a complete unit,
not piece by piece. Rabbinic preaching method. Definition of success in ministry. Mustard seed = weed.
50:00, Ravi Zacharias is mentioned; RZ died about four years after this video was posted. Recall wheat and
tares when you read his life details - I was shocked, because I had not heard about that stuff before today.
"The main thing about a parable is to keep the main thing the main thing."

Oysters are mollusks found in the Phylum Mollusca and class bivalvia. Not crustaceans 😜 I’m just nitpicking. They’re still unclean.

My favorite part of the Democrats rhetoric is when they try to promote compassion but when you ask them on what basis they believe it, they can’t namedrop Jesus because they’ve spent decades sneering and jeering Him.
It’s the best form of entrapment.
