This was the best womens world cup so far and hopefully it gets better and better every edition. It had upsets and triumph, 3 of the biggest teams in the world not making it out of the group stages and the success of teams like Jamaica and Morrocco, the fall of giants USA and Japan. So many funny moments and also so many meaningful ones, Marta's last conference still makes me cry everytime. Record crowds, record viewers, record money and sponsorship, as a European there was nowhere I wanted to be more than AUS-NZ! Finally a WC final with 2 new teams, as an England fan it hurt but was so proud to see them in the final and we were outplayed by Spain, so amazing to have such a deserving winner. It has placed such a spotlight on womens football, one that is way overdue and im so excited to see the game grow and am so honoured to watch it develop at the rate it is.
This world cup is very special for me because our country who is not dominantly a football nation was able to make a win against the co-hosts. The first goal was very special that my voice was even heard in our neighboorhood in an afternoon of that day. This gave me a hope that the beautiful game will be popular in our country someday. #LabanFilipinas 🇵🇭

It’s so nice how this video was made! This Women’s world cup is one of the best and I am glad I was able to watch it live and was one of the spectators who cheered for Spain during the finals. The atmosphere was intense and so overwhelming of emotions. Two new different countries playing for their first world cup but one has an advantage of some sort for being the recent European champions and the other whose players are half hearted to play due tơ indifferences with their federation. This world cup deserves respect, not only for the game but more importantly for women all over the world.
