As a mental health therapist, (LMFT) in the field for about 7 years now, every single individual who I've seen that identifies as gay, bisexual or Trans, has a history of truama. That is fact!!!!!!
P.s. We need more Christian therapists!!

Yes my ex-wife and her brother grew up in a emotionally violent home and were traumatized for years. My ex had a very masculine and domineering spirit, very angry and manipulative. Her brother was gay and very loudly so. I was unable to function in my marriage or in their family. Nobody wanted to talk about the issues though. I was told to shut up and put up and tolerate it.
@@jabencarter88 Predominantly, yes, though it is not exclusive. Psychological, emotional and physical trauma can do just as much damage. It depends on the victim and a number of other factors related to environment. Nature v. Nurture

The way the scripture was read this time was awesome. If you had one designated person to read with a mic along with the congregation it would be a great improvement for those of us who watch online. When it's just the congregation reading, you really cannot understand what is being said.

Yes Sonia, that is something that I do when I can, but I am usually listening when I cannot break out the Bible and read it. You need to understand that these videos are listened to when people are doing other things. Driving, making lunch, working, ect. It would not be difficult to make that small change to improve the audio.

The Lord brought me a long way from what I was, but I still have a long way to go to be as Christlike as I want to be. It's a sanctification process that takes time (50 yrs since accepting Christ in my mid teens & still plugging along) A prayer I try to remember to say every day is as follows: "Dear Lord, Please make me more Christlike day by day in my thoughts, habits, attitudes and behavior, speech, voice and conversation."
One prayer of mine that God is "batting 1000" on or in other words, He answers yes 100% of the time is actually more a statement than a request or thanksgiving. I often say to myself or outloud, "Lord, I need a better attitude than this!" One of the main areas of my life that need much improvement is in the area of attitudes. When I realize that I'm copping a less than desirable attitude, that's half the battle and God is strong enough to win the rest and change my attitude. This is true about any sin be it thought, word, behavior, attitudes, etc.
For instance, an alcoholic (take it from one that backslid into alcoholism as a late teen and young adult) cannot and will not be helped or changed until he/she recognizes and realizes they have a problem with their drinking (a sinner admits to God and themselves that what they're doing is a sin). Afterward they can be helped by detox, rehab, AA, psychiatric counselling, God, etc. as I have been through all of them to overcome my addictions to drugs and alcohol. In the end, it was the Lord (coming back to Him admitting I had problems) Who deserves all the credit and glory for delivering me from my addictions (I often referred to my addictions as "demons". He's doing the same with all of my other sins that He is working on me about.
He knows that if I faced every sin or area that needs improvement, I would quickly become overwhelmed especially in light of a neurological condition I was born with that makes me especially vulnerable to being overwhelmed by too much on my plate at once. When that happens, my brain goes through the metaphoric biological form of a computer freezing or crashing or the biological or emotional form of a Chernobil style nuclear reactor meltdown, so He's gently, but firmly working on me, not putting through anything above what I can handle. When some of my issues are solved, then He brings to my attention new sins or areas to start work on. In other words (actually King David's in Psalm 51:3), my sin is ever before me.

I saw a film on TH-cam a few years ago, about a man (who happened to be LDS) who felt attracted to men. Not women. He was in college and had a group of friends. One of them was a young woman who he said, "I'm not attracted to you, but of all the women I know, I think I could best live with you.." He didn't act on his homosexual feelings because he believed it was a sin to do so. He and the woman moved out in faith and got married, still felt nothing romantic about her for like the first year. But then he started to feel attracted to her, and fell in love with her. Today he's heterosexual, and a father.

My granddaughter was sexually molested by her narcissistic father from age 5 to 11. Our daughter had gone into the military reserves so in the few months she was gone and the weekends she was serving he took advantage of her. She was the sweetest little girl and by the time she was 11 we could tell something was bad wrong in her life!! Our daughter, her mom, had gone through horrors with him and finally divorced him, but it had tore our granddaughter up. Now she says she's trans. I pray and pray for her but don't know exactly how to handle her. Please help me pray!

It was very specific to within three weeks to the rapture. I received that sign a week ago. I fully believe we will be going home within the next two weeks. My wife's half brother transitioned to become a woman about 7 years ago both chemically then later physically. He has a teenage son. My wife had a terrible upbringing. Her brother's was even worse. Pastor Jack and CCCH has given our entire family renewed capability. If you can help your neighbor thru empathy but also based on what our family has been dealing with, I pray with you that she can stand tall in her faith. God will help her in her fear. She will win!

The last 20-30 minutes of this was the most helpful as Frank gave actual practical advice.However, a couple contradictions should be noted...one... Jack makes his usual accusation that it's the public school teachers who are "teaching" kids to be trans...as a public school teacher I would love to see evidence of this, as there's nothing in my curriculum or library that talks about it. I don't know of anyone teaching kids to be trans, however I did overhear my 4th grade student tell another student not to "misgender her". I've never used that term iny classroom and yet this student brought it in. A week later, she wore a Pride shirt to school, so I'll push back on the accusations that public school teachers are intentionally pushing this on kids. However I agree with Frank 💯 that there's a small percentage with gender dysphoria and many cases due to trauma and social influences from social media. This far more honest than blaming public school teachers. Secondly, Jack makes a snarky remark regarding "experts" and then Frank includes such experts as psychologists and psychiatrists as valid places to find help for your child. Not a major contradiction...but still...the Bible talks a lot about our speech so I think it behooves us as Christians to choose our words carefully and be as precise as possible when speaking of such serious things. I would also add that the unbeliever doesn't consider the Bible as authoritative so that should be taught along with a theologically robust teaching on what it means to be made in the image of God.
Then you’re fortunate that it isn’t in your school system… yet… in Mn it’s part of the curriculum in the schools.. I know quite a few Christian teachers in elementary school that are trying their best to hold this perversion at bay. They are like missionaries in their school. It’s not good in the middle school and high schools. Kids are very deceived.. adults are too.

WHY do we marvel at that? Church was never meant to raise children, but come along side of parents as THEY DO their job. Christ must be lived out morning moon and night IN THE home. If you are a believer in Christ as Savior and LORD, do your utmost to spread this message as far and wide as you are able through every means available to you. For our children's sake and the edification of parents, grandparents, friends at work, school boards, church leadership, teachers, educational leaders, legislators and Congressman. Good sermon
I love it when Pastor Jack reads the verses and then everybody else reads the even or the odd however it works out, but I wish Pastor Jack would put a microphone on one person every time because when I watch these videos on TH-cam in Thailand I’m in Thailand I’ve been here for over a year and I watch his videos and when everybody in the audience speaks and reads the verse I can’t hear anything and sometimes I don’t have my glasses on and I can’t read the verse watching it from my small iPhone. But in this video Dr. reads with the members and it was great so it’s an easy fix Pastor Jack could you please mic someone up when you read the verses because I miss half of what it is I go look it up later sometimes but not all the time.

I wish this sermon was around when my 19 year old son attempted suicide because he wished he was born a girl. I had no idea what this was back in 2017. We loved him regardless but this last August he died . I just pray that he accepted the Lord before he left us and God gave us 5 years to build a beautiful relationship with him.

How do u get saved the right way
Hi! Not a pastor or theologian-just a Christian. 😊 A relationship with God is very personal and unique to each person. So I’m not comfortable saying there is a wrong way to be saved or a “right way”. God calls you to salvation. For me, it was a voice and a stirring in my heart. You become very aware that you are a sinner, and that “awareness” is very personal and unique to each person. In that state of awareness you believe Jesus died on the cross for you, that you are sorry for your sins, and you want to follow him. If you are at a point where you want to know more about salvation I strongly encourage you to reach out to this ministry. I like Pastor Hibbs, especially this message today. I liked how this issue was handled. At its core, there is compassion for the LBGTQ community. I heard it and I hope you did too.
Finally, I will say it’s okay to question what you hear and read. God wants you to be curious and dig deep! There is nothing wrong with wanting to know more.
After that lengthy reply I realized I had not directed you to the Bible verse, Romans 10:13: “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Amber, It’s by simply believing on and receiving the Truth~Christ Jesus, the Savior. Understanding that you are a sinner (as we all are) in need of redemption to God. There is only one way to be completely forgiven of all sin, born of God’s Spirit and given the gift of everlasting life, and that is to BELIEVE that Christ shed His blood and died for the forgiveness of your sins, and rose again to justify all who will believe on Him.
There is absolutely nothing we can DO to receive eternal salvation, except believe on Christ, because He finished the work of salvation at the cross! Romans 10:9-10, 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, Romans 3:20-23
