    Awesome reaction man🤘
I just recently watched an interview with Tim from the band where he talked about how he discovered his mother was dying of terminal cancer around the time this album was being written, so I believe this 2-parter especially might be dedicated to that.
Also had the pleasure of listening to the full album via their Patreon preview last weekend and I gotta say it is definitely greater than the sum of its parts, very cohesive listening experience!
Looking forward to more NeO vids 🤘

I'm pretty excited to check out Exul on Friday🤙 I had no idea about the backstory of this album, but I'll definitely go back and read the lyrics more in-depth. My heart goes out to Tim and his mother❤️

    Great reaction dude!
Yes the name of the song is cool!
Looking forward to your reaction to part 2 and Suspyre! Along with the full album Citadel.
I love Part 1 more than 2. Yet Suspyre is my favourite from Exul!

2 days man! I can't wait for you to check Exul out!
That's a very interesting fact about the misericorde blade, makes the whole armour/blade imagery works so much better for me (as well the cover art). Knowing Xen as a massive medieval history buff, this is no surprise at all. This might be a stretch, but in latin/italian/portuguese; I think you can associate misericorde a little bit with the meaning of compassion, forgiveness, mercy and/or as a plea to a higher deity, which I think works as well in the context of Exul, which the overall theme is exile. In this case, the exile is the consequence of a terminal illness, something beyond you; like a fate forced upon you, as well in Equus, regarding the bushfires that caused the exile of animals and people; like the earth's mercy forced upon us. Graal is still a work in progress for me, since there's so much to unpack in Xen's lyrics, but maybe is a self-imposed exile, be that by a search for meaning or following one's beliefs and dealing with the trials and tribulations that may result of it. So much stuff man, these lads don't joke around.
Also, a fellow Elden Ring enjoyer! (the ost goes way too hard). Cheers man, can't wait for more! 🤘

Yes that’s amazingly well put! Didn’t thought in a way like that of a self imposed exile! Definitely amazing stuff

I agree with Yasith because this is incredibly well said! I think you're definitely on to something with the translations being associated with mercy and compassion compared with the subject matter that Ne Obliviscaris delves deep into. Thanks for the insight man!🤘🔥 (I'm also anxiously waiting for the new Elden Ring DLC to drop lmao)

@@ErikGreymane Elden Ring still one of the Best Games I ever played. After finishing that game I felt so satisfied I didn't wanted to play any other games for a while. I still have some of that satisfaction haha

I feel that lmao. I haven't enjoyed any other games recently nearly as much as I enjoyed grinding through Elden Ring. I'll admit that I had a few moments where the game drove me insane but then I would get past the tough parts and feel extremely satisfied

@@ErikGreymane Yeah man, it's not surprising that we're all obsessing over that single image. The game really is something else. I'm hoping that when you're able to stream, we can talk and play some games on it as well.
