We filmed this video on December 6. You should be able to look up averages for that time of year. It will probably be a little cooler in January, however, that part of Georgia doesn't get really cold for very long, in our experience. Happy travels! 😊👋
Well, it depends. We have our route picked out according where we want to go. I line up campgrounds that have availability and Verizon service. We use RV Trip Wizard. Our range of reserving is anywhere from one month (that's a little too close but it can work) to four months. If I've checked in to a place we plan to go and see there's plenty of availability for our dates, I hold off on booking there. If I see there are six sites left at a campground, I go ahead and book. For any touristy areas or holidays, I'll book them as far in advance as I can. In 2020, I had us booked out six months. All that hard work just got cancelled one right after the other because of COVID. 🙄 These days we are a little more relaxed about booking out so far. 👍👋😊
@@ruffroadrvlife understand I’m working on a trip now leaving NJ late June. Hitting Rapid City then out to Yellowstone and then the Grand Canyon. We are booked in sites till late August when heading back on a southern route. I would like to book as we go but since everyone is going to the same places it would hard. Buy the love of all the info you guys put out with the sites in the videos at the COES. We are 62 feet long and some of the COES have a lot of ditches on the main roads that makes it hard to back in on the smaller main roads with our size. Keep up the good work. Safe travels!
