"Don't" took south korea by storm when it was released It was created for a show called 'hyena on the keyboard', which that live was from. The show was all about the creative process of making a song. They had several cast members but every two episodes revolved around how several different artists created their works. Episodes 7 and 8 had hwasa and loco, jay b of got7 and two korean rock legends who had been friends in the same field for 20 years but never collabed before as the artists they followed. Each team had really different ways of working on their music, and if that interests you, i definitely suggest the entirety of those two episodes Loco has technically worked with mamamoo previously, one of their early osts called "this song", though each worked in their own studio and sent their parts back and forth. He also performed a song with the solo artist punch, which i only mention here because punch later re-released that song with moonbyul around the same time byul released "weird day" with punch. Punch's song is "say yes" The later two hwasa/loco collabs were released together, each using one's favorite producer. "Somebody" and "lemon". One was produced by woogie, the other by park woosang (psw, logos). Woogie also has done music with just hwasa, such as the song "in the fall"

It's a great show! I really enjoy seeing how she creates her music. I'm sure you have been linked the explanation vids for her Maria/LMM MV, and Twit, as well as the Bts for any of her albums. Hwa Sa puts so much of herself into her music, MVs, and her performances. Even to the point that she will work while she is in horrible pain (like she did during her Maria promotions). Unbelievable!
Ok the last solar live performance. About that there is something you need to know. The performance is from solar’s solo concert. She is the first 3rd gen idol to have a solo concert. The concert held 3 days. On 1st day after she sang this song she was going to left the stage but suddenly band started playing and moomoos started to sing the song for her. And in 2nd day she was anticipating for that but it didn’t happened cause in 2nd date members moonbyul, wheein, hwasa gave her a congratulatory vod and staff played it at the venue. And in 3rd day moonbyul came with a cake wishing her for her first solo concert. This all 3 events were prepared by moonbyul. Actually in these 3 days each member came to do a stage with her in eachday. By the way concert name was solgam❤❤❤( if there is something wrong with my english pls forgive me english is not my first language)

Since it was the last day of Solar Gamsung/Emotion concert (Blossom), so Moonbyul was congratulating her for completing the 3-day concert, 2018/4/27-29. Besides, Blossom has an encore in Busan, 2018/6/16-17. So, Blossom concert has 5 days in total.

Not only was Loco unable to look directly at Hwasa in the m/v, at the end when Loco is rapping in Korean and Hwasa is singing in English at the same time, the English subtitles show... Hwasa's lines... when she's already singing in English. She's doing it to everybody.
I haven't seen the 1st live performance of swfs before. it really shows how well they work the crowd. it was a simple thing.. but they were sitting down, then they stood up and approached the audience. They use effects like this all the time.... which is why they are great live.

I know I must have sounded like a dying parrot but I (tried) sang loudly when they performed Star Wind Flower Sun at the concert. Love it. Such a beautiful song. How many heart attacks do y'all think Loco had, or almost had, when performing Don't with Hwasa? I still laugh when I see the first time Hwasa called him. Hwasa is the hunter, not the prey lol😂 Whenever I listen to “Don’t” ,the first verse of Hwasa always make me imagine her pick up cute girl/boy at the bar and bring them home. Hwasa does do a lot of collabs and this is one of the best she did. Mamamoo have all said they prefer handheld mics over any other option. The MV was filmed in the same location in New Zealand as Starry Night and a couple of other MVs were filmed there as well. Solar's solo version she added to Solar Gamsung as well which is of course perfect because mamamoo are incredible singers. There is a tear jerker short video of star wind flower sun. I have only seen it once a few years ago because I cant remember the event. Mamamoo had just won a contest or award or something when the members got back to RBW many trainees and employees were waiting one of the onewe members was playing and acoustic, and the rest of the room including some of the then Purple Kiss trainees started singing this song to mamamoo and the tears started especially Solar, you can see one of the purple kiss members has a cake for them. Just another moment in their history that is nice to see.

Solar is a competent pianist and not surprised if she also play the piano when she perform SWFS solo.

The best live version of star flower is the 4 seasons mamamoo version. Very emotional when the crowd sings at the end.
