the smeg kettle is only worth it if you have some of the other appliances (orange juicer, blender, coffee machine, toaster and others) it adds up to the kitchen's esthetic but if you just have the kettle sitting in the corner its not doing anything more than a regular kettle. Nobody is really dependent on that time advantage knowing the price it comes with. Smeg is more of a luxury adult brand. Add few of their appliances to your kitchen makes it look high end.

Smeg is just for fun, in my case. Coffee machine is same story - you pay triple vs Delonghi or similar, not sure it is worth it.

It's eye candy and personally i use a kettle more than other appliances.

Smeg is just more pretty and has more luxury touch. Otherwise I can’t recommend it over cheap one.
