- Enjoy this space heater sound to sleep well for 10 hours from the small little fan heater to help you sleep well to these sleep sounds. There is a very small fan that does move air through the back of the electric heater which produces that lovely calming low end heater noise. This video is great as a background noise, to help you sleep well, or even for study sounds if you need to focus and concentrate.

I recorded this video with 2 cameras. One for the introduction, and the second up close to the heater, with a protective shield on the front so it would not get to hot. I waited until it was night, so we could shut out all the lights and really see the space heater electric elements glow nice and red. Both visually soothing and audibly relaxing simultaneously.

OMG! Randall! I started laughing with JOY when you 1st turned it on! Its the middle of the afternoon and if I listen too long I'll fall asleep, but it is instantly calming me down!!
I wanted to say the older the unit, the better! Just keep a good eye on it and it's cord! So many people have died from electrical malfunctions and those heaters catching fire!
We always had 2 -3 going when my children were growing up. And just a few year's back my late husband had to have 4 going! What a heating bill WE had! $290 - $300.+! But the SOUND of that heater is the sweetest thing I've heard in months!
This is a normal indoor everyday sound people can relate to! God Bless you Dude!! And its not even my birthday! Could you eventually add another heater and turn it on AFTER the first one? Double the pleasure, double the FUN! .Thank you so much!!

@@RandallsRestRelaxation I did too Randall! It's my "music for my ears" sound tonight too! I actually slept BETTER last night than in over a year and woke up early and rested! I'm trying it again tonight! If it works this well I can finally chuck the Trazadone my Dr prescribed for sleeping. I hate that groggy feeling the next day! All I want is 6 - 7 hours of real solid sleep!

BTW, there was a sound that would put me to sleep at a drop of a pin but I can't find it anywhere! Its the sound of an outdoor household standard air conditioning unit when your outside. It has that deep almost roar sound. Its loud with just the right ambiance to fall asleep too! Those big square boxed air conditioners The ones in back of Apts sound pretty good. Or the local 7-11! When I hear it I don't want to leave, which is bad if its a place of business!! They think your loitering or crazy when I tell em its that sound that puts me to sleep! Either way, if I hang around, the police will surely arrive. I'd sit on the tops at my house and listen to it all night with the sound of cricket's in the back ground. .

I used to really run up the electric bill in my youth using a heater like this. Couldn't sleep without that rhythm running in the background, and the warmth hitting my side.

@@RandallsRestRelaxation cricket's, not many of them. I know it gos well because I have them outside of my window xD. You can also have sprinkles because they mimic the sound of cricket's.
My parents had one of these when I was young idk I'd be in our bathroom laying on the floor in the dark with one of these on ,,it was very soothing and relaxing at the time ,,today my folks and the old farmhouse are gone but I found this video and it brought back excellent memories of those days and it's very relaxing and warm feeling under my blanket when it's 15 degrees outside thank you 😊❤️ love you all

this takes me back to 1975 , in the old den at my parents house. i fell alseep one time with my feet beside the space heater and melted my slippers. ha ha, that didn't stop me from sleeping beside it over and over again.

I had a heater very similar to this when I was a kid in the 70’s but it crackled and popped with the heat. Your vid is the closest thing I have ever seen to my old heater to help me sleep. Thank for your post!

Ours we had in the early 80s never made a fan like noise such as this video. It just sort of barely buzzed a little and crackled.

I typically turn on my fan to put me to sleep at night, and wife hated the breeze. She suggested I just play the fan noise from somewhere. Most white noise videos I found were generic and poor quality, but Randall I gotta say, your stuff is amazing. This heat block video is perfect and captures the nostalgia of the heat block in my bedroom as a kid and it puts me to sleep in 10 min. Thank you so much!!

Been using this sound for over a year now, and what an amazing discovery! I have tried so many different calming stories, sounds and this is the only thing that makes me fall asleep and get into a deep sleep when my roommate is still up (I am a very light sleeper!) I just plug my headphones into my phone/computer, and my mind turns off, it's also very calming! Can't thank you enough! :)

It's the middle of summer and I just recently discovered this. The resonance created by the fan echoing off the metal cabinet is awesome. You must have superior gear because all of your recordings capture the low end sounds that make it more than just a swoosh. Great job Randall. Just out of curiosity, what's your "day job?" You do a super job with these recordings.

When I was a kid, we had one of those old electric heaters like the one in your video and it was a pure delight to put it on and sleep with it on all night. Those were some of the coziest nights I remember hearing the sound of the heater and watching the warm glow of the incandescent wires. I thought that I was wierd for liking this so much, but years later thanks to TH-cam, I learn that a lot of people love this and enjoy it just as much as I did and still do.

I love this! I haven't got a heater cos I'm boiling hot most of the time, but when I am super cold like tonight, this helps me sleep and its like I can almost feel the warmth! Saves on a lot of electricity as well!!

Lol. This was the way I used to stay warm in the 1970s and 1980s. Then came the heater fan in the 1980s. Now with safety features and lower wattage. I sleep with them on all night. Being that its on low and with a thermostat.

The psychology of this is interesting: a still image of a heater coupled with what could be any fan sound from the vast array (literally millions of different fan sounds already recorded) of sounds available in sound libraries. Nobody would be any the wiser. It works because the introduction is so authentic it sets up the human belief system and voila! we have made an EXPERIENCE. Not criticising the video. It's great. Just thinking out loud.
It is actually a video, not a still image. But to the mind, being nothing is moving after a while, it is a still image. The sound is of this heater itself. But I agree with you, you could create any experience with image and sound and many minds would make it real. That is basically how the news works now. lol

I remember from 2YRS on I remember how I smiled and slept when that old heater came on, only a kitchen sink and a tub on the back porch for bathing till I was 13. Never drank nothing but whole milk till 16. I remember in the spring when the wild onions would emerge and the cows ate them. You drank onion milk and was grateful! 🤣🍺🇺🇸🍀🙏🏻

I prefer this one, the visual imagery of the red glow actually mindfully helps keep me warm. My cat even likes it.

I would like for a space heater sound app to exist, but all there is in Google Play are a bunch of ASMR airplane, fans, and rain apps. Space heaters and heater sounds in general are on of those things that help me fall asleep the most.

@@RandallsRestRelaxation Problem is, my battery would drain faster if I left this video on overnight when my Internet is on. So I have a fan heater app to use overnight so that it could last overnight and help me sleep while internet is off.

Is anybody else like addicted to their heater? I can sit by mine for hours. I think I might have an addiction/dependency lol. Even with hairdryers, fans, and air vents I just live for the sound. I feel so weird and anxious when everything’s quiet and shit...like it makes me feel nervous. Please tell me that at least ONE other person is like this cause everyone’s comparing me to that lady on my strange addiction who sleeps with her hairdryer and tbh....I feel for her lol. HELP!!!
