Pay more attention to NIL deals. At the 24 minute mark of the video, it wasn't just a deal for followers, it would have gave you a 25% test readiness and that was after your advisor said you were slacking off studying. That would have been worth the 3 energy points.
Thanks for trying to help him but He thinks more ppl will watch it he keeps being the worst at the game in reality its just gonna make people go watch the actual good cfb creators
Road to glory can be brutal man 😂 I was the lowest recruit possible, work my ass off for HB2 at Cal, season ends, they add transfers, I get dropped to 4th, get offered a starting job at Michigan state, transfer, only to be in two battles for HB3 and HB2 😂😂 they sold me a false dream! Transferred to Colorado state, played my senior year, put up 1100 rushing yards, 400 receiving yards, 16 tds and don’t even get drafted hahahaha.
He doesn't adjust pass protection at the line AT ALL. It is infuriating. Dude is like, "Oh, why are they getting to me even though people are committing holding to protect me?" MAYBE, just maybe, he should pay attention to those because it isn't automatic like it is in other games. Madden is more forgiving than this game when it comes to line adjustments.
Something that I have noticed on road to glory is that kickers miss the easiest kicks of all time. I had to play at least 3 overtime games because my kickers could not make 30 yards or less kicks. It's something they should probably look at
Think that's just a problem with the frostbite engine. Qb makes weird throws rbs take weird angles weird kicks when you do the create a player. Madden is the same way as far back as 18 when I'd play seasons as a specific player
With heisman, you have to take your progressions and reads. You can’t look for the route you want. That route will come once you take your primary and secondary routes and you could get more time for the big play route. It’s chess. You gotta play chess
58:57 is a super sim bug that’s been in madden for years, when you set up for the game winning field goal with the clock running the AI(your team) will simply let the clock run out rather than even attempt to kick it
I thought I would play Dynasty first, but I'm hooked on RTG. Created a 2 star QB, could not crack the QB2 slot at USF, transferred to Kennesaw St. Started every game, went 12-1 winning the conference. Forgot all about the 12 team playoffs. Beat #3 Oregon as the #11 seed in the quarter final game. Won the game in overtime I could not believe it. Leveled up to a level 85 QB so far and still have a semifinal playoff game. I was planning to transfer again to a bigger school for my junior year, but I may stay at least 1 more year and level up my player faster than if I go to a power5 school. Correct me if I'm wrong; only thing I can think of is you can level up faster at a tougher conference? Playing on varsity difficulty.
My first RTG QB I made a 5-star and played for BYU. Played on All-American and it was rough. Threw 26 TDs but also threw 23 INTs. Had 10 rushing TD, but 16 fumbles. Yet LSU took me the following season as QB1 even though Nussmeier was still there and had thrown 41 TDs in the previous season. Enjoying the game so far!
Hey Bordeaux! Just so you know I played some madden 24.The camera Will zoom in like that so it isn’t broken it’s kinda like madden 24 and here’s a tip:If the camera zooms in look for the outside if not look in the inside!Keep going. GO WILDCATS!
It’s like the same thing but it’s kinda different it’s created by the same thing How about yall say that madden is trash ti the EA And what they have to say about it cause they also created madden🙄
You should try first read, second read and third read technique for you to not be sacked. and try and predict what the defense does so you're prepared and you know what to do immediately after the snap
To kick a field goal before halftime and the end of the game, you have to make sure you call timeout after the previous play. If you don’t, they’ll for some reason just run out the clock.
Hey Bordeaux, someone already posted this under another video on your other channel, but I wanna repost here too. I think, as a send off to the greatest coach of all time’s career, you should do the Nick Saban Challenge. Using Alabama, you have to get 7 national championships, 9 conference Titles, 4 Heisman winners, a winning record against Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU, and you have his career of 17 years to do it all. If that's not enough you could try for 76 First Team All Americans, sign a top 5 recruit class 16 of 17 years just like he did or have 44 1st round draft picks. On Heisman of course.
Gotta admit, the struggle against Toledo only to beat Tennessee by two scores is the most Kentucky thing you could ever do 😂😂😂. Way to keep up the realism Bordeaux.
Great video. I was struggling at first but once you get used to the controls it's enjoyable. Also I love the tackling animation on sacks. I got freakin speared like Edge did when he did the spear as a finisher lol
I found that two things help: 1. Playing a full game (15 minutes) helps pads your stats. It’s not even that long, but if you do find that it is, use accelerated clock. 2. No huddle every play and pick the best play based on what formation the defense comes out in and what play they call. Though I only recommend doing this if you’re on a run heavy team.
To change the plays you can push y on Xbox or triangle on PlayStation and you get access to to 2 more plays that’s what the play changes remaining is in the play selection menu
16:48 Kicker missed another 20:00 First road game as the Kentucky starter is at Penn State... good luck, Meat. 20:44 Missed safety?! 29:40 oof 35:37 What's the score again? 51:01 college kickers.. 58:36 Don't blame you. 59:00 !!!! 1:08:21 The first round of the Playoffs were crazy.
One thing I noticed playing qb in rtg is the oline gives you little to no time to make reads. One thing I do that kinda helps is either hot route my hb to pass protect or oline to max protect. Doesn't always work but any extra time is good
There is so many good things about Bordeaux but one of the best things I like about him is how chill he is and calm it just makes it fun to watch idk why😭
Learning your reads will go a long way for QB play. The CPU does need the dline to be nerfed a little. The channel SK8 is a guy who played QB in college and he breaks down reads on his RTG and it's awesome.
The SuperSim in RTG is the same with Superstar in Madden and I have wanted the ability to do Slow ever since they brought back Superstar proper and now for RTG. There is an odd fun to watching the rest of your team play while you wait...and stressful.
The best way to get the most points in road to glory is the option practice mode, YOU GET SO MANY POINTS. It’s auto touchdown every time, and you can get like 30,000 every practice and get told every time
I saw a video saying that to have success throwing on heisman you have use the pass protections and read the wil and mik correctly. Or you’re ol just gets run through
Love Bordeaux’s videos. Sometimes kind of hard to watch his stubbornness playing this game. Makes the same mistakes over and over. He’ll eventually power up to the point where it won’t matter, but still can tell he’s learning on the fly.
One thing I found myself doing and you too probably is that in the pocket, I would move toward the side of the pocket that is collapsing instead of way from it. It helped me stay in the pocket and utilize my protection better. Next time you're playing, just think about it, and you'll catch yourself. It made me so much better of a passer.
Love the content, you have to run blitz beaters. You’re running 15-20 yard breaking routes that take time to develop. If you run quick hitters it slows the rush down
When you are initially scouting your prospects, should you give all 35 scholarships? Like will that give you more hours to work with (especially during your first real week of recruiting) when putting in actions to say go for your top 15-18 guys or does it not work like that?
I wouldn't turn off the passing meter, but do whatever you think will be best. I think the biggest thing is you need to pay more attention to the pocket. I also have the instinctual thing to just hold back on the left stick, but in this game you really have to pay attention to the pocket and you'll usually have to step up rather than step back.
I played last night and fumbled almost every run as a QB. It does seem like if you stop sprinting before getting hit you're less likely to fumble? But I'll need to test out more.
If you hold down L2 pre snap and pull the right stick to the right you can see how well the matchups are for the receivers (green means that the wr is going to burn the db. yellow means it’s 50/50 and red means that the db will clamp the receiver up)
I know I posted on your first video, but how do you get the wider view? Those RPO offenses like Tenn/OU/Miss State…the wide splits of the receivers you can’t even see the receivers or coverage.
I understand the frustration in not being able to sim some of the run plays but you're literally on the field and may need to make a play. Heck, ya might pick up your own RB's fumble for a gain :D
You gotta roll out more and drop back before you throw. It gives you more distance from the o-line, therefore giving you more time to throw if the defense gets through.
I haven’t played the game yet, But I think that if you would throw the ball away before a player is about to sack you, you would benefit greatly. The reason is that your team doesn’t lose all the yards from the sack, and I also believe that your wear and tear will not take as big of a hit as it would a sack. Hope this helps!
Hey Bordeaux, I am sure you might know already. But if you press left trigger and hold right on the right thumbstick pre-play, it will show you your matchups and if its green, they will be open 90% of the time
Your force pass trait is set to insane 😂 take those checkdowns. Specially when the line only giving you 2 Mississippi (seconds) at best and call quicker pass plays
Bro has flats open. Sometimes hit the flat. On that Texas game at the end the right side of the field was open. X was open right side of the field. The reads been crazy but you’ve def gotten used to 14 on 25 it’s so different
another tip. if u are going against impact players like that on defense if u double team them it will slow them down also if u feel like a blitz is coming block ur HB and shift your pass block it will give u a little more time. max protect is nice but it just blocks more people not really how they block
The supersim logic completely breaks RTG as a viable game mode. Pretty much every time the game is tied late, it takes the ball completely out of your hands in the red zone and doesn’t even attempt a field goal as time expires.
7:37 Ik I'd be upsetty spaghetti in this situation too but running more often would make the defense change up how they're defending you throwing every play just makes it an easier reason for them to drop back more often into coverage and send 5+ on the rush to get to the qb
Pay more attention to NIL deals. At the 24 minute mark of the video, it wasn't just a deal for followers, it would have gave you a 25% test readiness and that was after your advisor said you were slacking off studying. That would have been worth the 3 energy points.

Thats is so true it is painful watching him take it into contact every scramble
Bordeaux, you can half slide your lineman based on where the mic linebacker is and that will help your protection hold up longer. Please look into it!
Once I figured out protections it helped me out so much
As a o-linemen the pass protections help so much which is very realistic. Brett Kollmann has a great video that explains it well.
Something that I have noticed on road to glory is that kickers miss the easiest kicks of all time. I had to play at least 3 overtime games because my kickers could not make 30 yards or less kicks. It's something they should probably look at

JUST FUCKING HAPPENED TO ME
I like that kicking is harder but the 50 yarders on the road are basically impossible
Lost the national championship because my kicker missed a 25 yard field goal
They miss the easiest kicks, but will nail last second 60 yard kicks everytime (especially if it’s the AIs kicker)
Bro always runs right into the dline or scrambles when he has a clean pocket and wonders why he gets sacked lol
he’s so stupid
Tbh I do the same thing I scramble around a lot because the d-line is usually always in my face

Hard to make reads when you have 1 second to throw the ball.
