Take a 1x4, rip it in half. Take that half piece, and pin nail it to the wall, 11 inches down from the ceiling. We will now call that a cleat.Take the other half and pin nail it under the cleat. You now have a L shaped shelf pin nail 4 inch crown molding to the front of the new shelf. Put in Philips Hue lights strips, an you have indirect lighting
