He was a very multi-dimensional performer. Very talented man. Vaudeville, they did everything, but I haven't seen anyone like this man. His brash persona is almost different from his Texaco Star Theater persona.
The way Mr. Television walked backstage is the walk I admire so much. Such confidence and no worries of things getting in his way. When he joined the Rat Pat at the Sands in 1960, pushing everyone out of his way, is amazing. He can slap Sinatra, Rickles, Lewis and still be respected. Uncle Miltie. More like great great grandfather Miltie.

It seems odd that bars wouldn't have done much business on Tuesday night in the late 40's as most people hadn't bought television sets and bars were one of the places where you could watch Texaco Star Theatre.
