Very good demo! Much appreciated. Would you mind sharing a few of your settings? Especially the heavy 8-string (Meshuggah) tone. They all sounded incredible to be honest, but I myself haven't really succeeded in getting a more 'djenty' tone with S-GEAR yet. It's definitely one of the best amp modellers out there as far as I'm concerned. Cheers!
How'd you set up S_gear wayfarer for that solo tone? how would you call that type of tone.. feels like it would have a type of name. Would love to see a vid on setting up solo tones! Thanks for the vids
Hi dude, nice video and great guitar tones. I have S-gear and was wondering how to get a Mesa Boogie tripple rectifier sound, it's mostly for metal. I have been looking into the IK Multimedia Mesa Boogie range and Brainworx Bx_megadual but I cannot afford to spend more money right now. Keep up the great work.
ViTAR check out their video on shaping DI before the amp sim. Your IR also usually plays a much larger role than the amp sim when it comes to getting a good tone.
I'm considering getting rid of all my amps, pedals and multieffects in favor or switching to software exclusively... however, the last time I tried that, a few years ago, I couldn't stand the latency. Have these improved over time? I have a Dell i5 laptop with a Scarlett 2i4 Gen1 interface... anyone went that route? Muchos gracias!
Don’t know about your laptop but I have the 2i4 with a MacBook Pro and don’t experience any lag. Vst’s are pretty cheap try a few out before you sell all your equipment.
I know the tutorials are coming, so I won't ask about that. What I WILL ask is if you'll do the same with some of the Kazrog amp models? I think they're in line with Kempers in terms of their overall realism and I'd love to see what you come up with.
Definitely doing an episode of CCRM for Thermionik. However I'm not sure if I'll do tutorials for S-Gear and the other platforms. Only if I get enough requests...
Killing tone and playing! Subscribed.
Superb playing and demo! Subscribed. Thanks for the great music!
Very nice demo. I use S-Gear on all my recordings.
Nicely put together and demonstrated. Many thanks.
great riffs...great tones
I would love tutorials for S-gear! please!!!
Pretty good tones. Haven't tried S-Gear, maybe someday :)

Thank you! If enough people ask I'll consider doing a preset walkthrough video.
Yes please, I am also interested!
Yes, me too.
I'm in!
Would be definitely awesome^^
When using S-gear what interface are you using to plug into your computer? I just have a focus rite Scarlett 2i2. Your tracks sound so great man.
I know this is old video but that 2:20 Solo guitar is superbra. Is there anyway you could show how did you create those rhythm guitar sounds?

What is a mystery magic applied here? How are DI's were recorded?

Thank you Benjamin.
Benjamin, the only problem - I can't find mentioned video :) Would you be so kind and provide a link, please? Thank you.
I apologize, it was another channel that posted the video I mentioned. It was still good to know.

Yes, that should work just fine. The latency is so minimal on Windows or Mac that it feels like a real amp. At least IMO.
Best of luck
