This is how you do this plot successfully! You have a strong FL who when she says- I’ve had enough- she means it. She put up with a lot, but then she stands up for herself and doesn’t take crap from anyone. She’s smart and powerful, and she knows her worth. She inflicts a bit of well deserved retribution back at the ML. And best of all she doesn’t immediately forgive the ML and fall back into his arms!
The ML while awful, wasn’t an utter scumbag, there were hints of hidden caring. Once she was gone though, he really learned his lesson. He moved heaven and earth to not only find her, but to get her back. He knew that he deserved everything she was dishing out, and he not only accepted it in the hope that she would give him a CHANCE, but he also did anything he thought might make her happy. This is probably one of the best examples of a ML trying to redeem himself for his bad behavior that I’ve seen. He was literally willing to give her everything just to show how much he valued her. We see the knife of forgiveness all the time, but all the things he did, together, seemed more meaningful. (Though they tried the knife, but she didn’t budge 👍🏻) In the end I couldn’t even begrudge them getting back together!
Now there was a plot twist that had me worried, but they did a good job clearing it up in a logical way. All the villains got what they deserved 🥳 and the cute kid finally got what he wanted! Pretty good little show and I’d even watch it again! 😜

I think that FLs that are born rich tends to have a backbone, wherein if they decide to throw the towel and call it quits for good, they have the self esteem and confidence to really walk away and not look back. Whereas weak FLs that tend to accept scumbag ML easily, normally come from poor/ so-so backgrounds with no solid family backings. Just like in real life. This FL is just lucky to be born rich. I'd act the same way as her, and have the same swag if I know I have a powerful background thats equal, if not greater than ML. Sometimes, people are just born with different circumstances and opportunities. Life is not fair. Lucky for this character she had the means. I hope to see strong FLs again, but this time it would be interesting if the character comes from a humble background with a loving family and still have the same swag and badass energy to walk away from the bullshit like the FL in this drama did.

And I agree, it would be very interesting to see a FL from a humble, but loving background have the confidence to stand up and walk out of a bad situation. I think that’s definitely an intriguing dynamic that deserves to be explored. (And it’d be something new in these plots!😉)
I’ve wondered about that. These women who are coming from less privileged backgrounds (or heaven forbid- the country 🙄), and they’re used to having less, so what’s the big deal? Having more is great, but they KNOW how to survive with less and they can work to improve their situation. Maybe it won’t be as grand as their privileged life, but I would think it’s a fair trade for not getting bullied, assaulted, ridiculed and/or or tortured. That’s my thought anyway. 🤷🏼♀ Of course, then they’d have to come up with different scripts though, so I won’t hold my breath! 😜

Another classic scumbag jerk ml that liked to humiliate hurt cheat on the fl, the ml treated the fl like she was a toy or object he never loved or fell in loved with the fl or his own kid. Can’t belive the fl when back to ml him rather than be with someone that loves her. It totally clear since the beginning the ml only saw her as a plaything toy or object never as a person. All the ml ever did was lie to the fl hurt humiliate her since the beginning he made clear he never loved her even at end he only wanted her back after finding out she had money & power not cuz he was in love with her. Who wants to go back to a man that soo happy wants to marry another & wants to keep around as a mistress or worse just a sleeping buddy. the jerk ml keep saying he look for her during years but while looking he was still happily engaged to the other girl all he wanted from look the fl was revenge for her leaving him all he wanted her back a mistress never a girlfriend or wife. If he ever had loved the fl why did the ml soo happy stayed engaged dating the 2fl so he never ever loved the fl. Only reason the mo wanted the fl back cuz he thinks she in another relationship like he was plus that the fl had a kid with someone else not cuz he missed her or ever loved her.
The ml wanted to keep the fl around to enjoy seeing her hurt humiliated plus he made clear he never wanted an actual relationship or kids with her. But classic the fl being dumb at end forgave the ml she really forgot all the cheating hurt humiliated he did to her so he could make other ppl & himself happy. I don’t care they had a kid together why go back to a man that never liked, respected or love you only wants to keep using as a toy & keep humiliating u in public. The ml always look down at the fl thinking she was poor he only wanted her back cuz she had money & power not cuz he was ever in love with her he only wanted to keep controlling & humiliating her for the rest of her life. Wasted of time the drama cuz the fl stared good see the tru face of the jerk ml that never wanted to marry or have kids with her he loved someone el but at end she so easy forgot all the hate cheating hurt humiliate the ml did to her & she stayed with him like a dumb fl.
