Beautiful blue waters and beaches. Those sand dunes looked like they went on forever and what a treat to see all those seals! Amazing! You did well to get the drone up on the coast and in the wind 👍🏻

Hi guys, hows things with you two? Those sand dunes weren’t too bad but if we’d gone the other way to Perranporth they do go on forever and aren’t easy to navigate (although that could have just been me 😂) I think it was there that the drone had a warning that it was too windy or was that Fowey - does your’s have that? Have you been getting away in Chunky much?

That’s definitely some narrow roads 😱 Shame the car park had a height restriction, but the alternative looked a good place to stop.
The seals were lovely, we love seals 🦭
    Lovely drone footage 👍
Mark gets pasty and a cake, and you get salad and a skinny bar…sounds fair 😂😍xx

I know so annoying, we had one last week as well!! We have been there before like I said but I can’t remember what time of the year it was, it was a very wet day I remember that 😂 We were told then that we needed to make sure we were gone by 5 pm as thats when the barrier would be closed. Awhh thanks for saying that about the drone footage - Mark is still a bit trigger happy and has the camera going up down left right (all over the place really!) so I am trying to get him to just send it off in one direction without moving it! I do like the occasional pasty, not one that big though but I am trying to lose weight for our holiday (nothings working but I am trying!) Going to get in touch with you two about trying to meet up as we’d really like to meet you both 😍 x

That's a great walk. I think we did a similar one last year, but cut down into Crantock. Never been that lucky with the seals. Sneaked in a Barnecutts in Devon yesterday.

😂😂 That made me laugh! Told you they had one in Plymouth now! Hope you had a fab weekend 😍 Its another lovely bit of the coastline and I don’t think we ever seen that many seals there before - we have down Godrevy. Not long til our holibobs 😍

Fab video! So amazing seeing the seals. We've only seen them bobbing in the sea at Lizard point, never basking on the sand! Will have to visit the Northern Cornwall beaches - lovely!

Hi Jo, thank you so much 😍 We’ve only seen the odd one bobbing around there before or down Polkerris - we saw dolphins near Lizard Point which was amazing! We saw loads of seals when we went for a walk down Godrevy but don’t think we realised they would be here and we never thought there would be so many! Definitely worth visiting the North Cornwall beaches! Thanks for watching - Mark & Amanda 😊

yay, we were there just a few weeks ago and i wanted to take the girls to see the seals. I also wanted to see where they filmed scenes for House of the Dragon.

      @AdventureswithAmandaandMark  ปีที่แล้ว

Did you get to see the seals? Gutted that I didn’t know it was a location for that series (not that we’ve watched it but Kirah has) - would have made a great video description - might have got thousands of views 😂 How is the D of E training going?

@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark yes i had heard the seals were down there so had wanted to take Posy and Lorraine out there for some time. Will definitely go back and continue on to Crantock like you guys did. we doubled back to Holywell. Did you go down to see the natural well at the beach? You have to wait until the tide is out as its in one of the caves. Season 2 of HotD will start filming very soon and im sure they'll definitely be back to Holywell. Russ

@@Ashiitakai Only read about the cave and well last night after checking out the House of Dragon filming locations. I knew we should have gone for a walk on the beach first 😂 We will have to go back again and look for that and walk the other way to Perranporth although I’m not a bit fan of those sand dunes that side - huge beach though!!

Hi Karl, a friend has just told us that as well - we honestly didn’t know 😂 Such a lovely piece of coastline that I (Amanda) have run on so many times and in the other direction too - Perranporth beach is so long isn’t it and navigating through those sand dunes has always been so difficult! Thanks for watching - Mark & Amanda 😍

Great vlog, that pasty looked good 😋 gotta have a pasty when in Cornwall 😁. What a gorgeous walk, couldn’t believe it when I started watching, you drove right past the cottage we’ve hired in the centre of Crantock for beginning of August this year when our Son and his wife come over from Canada for a visit! It was the white wall on the left with the sign on it near the square. We’re hoping our house will be sold by then so wanted somewhere to stay with them, Rob wanted Fiona to see Cornwall (she’s only been to London) so I found that cottage, loved the look of the beach, so annoying though they have a height restriction on the car park!

Oh my goodness how freaky is that!! Sounds like you’re going to have a lovely time with your son and his wife and that beach will be gorgeous in the August sunshine - might be a bit busy though. You’ll have to try and get the little ferry over to Newquay for a wander around and you can do that walk. Apparently Holywell beach is one of the film locations for House of Dragons!! How long are you staying for and are you going to be heading all over the county exploring? You have to try a Barnecutts pasty (not sure if they have a shop in Newquay but I think they do postal deliveries 😂) Thanks for watching - Mark & Amanda 😍

@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark they’re not over for long as she can only get 10days off, so having 5 days at the cottage and 5 days in our home area. Yes deffo want do that walk and the ferry over would be good. Thanks for the recommend we’ll look out for them, I love a proper Cornish pasty, and a Cornish cream tea as well! 😋. Yes August is going to be busy but had to be in school holidays as my other Son is coming down with his to girls as well. Do you come from Cornwall? x

@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark What a lovely place to live, I love Cornwall, we have visited quite a few times over the years, not as much as we’d like so planning to change that soon. Last time was 7 yrs ago when we bought our current camper, it was our first trip out in it a whistle stop tour around the whole of the Cornish coast. Hard to pick a favourite place, we love the harbours on the south coast and the beautiful bays all up the North coast, there was one in particular we liked that we got to park the camper on just north of Newquay, we bought pasties and scones and clotted cream 😋 pulled open the side door sat there eating and looking out on the beach and thought this is what we bought this camper for! ❤️🚐❤️
