Yeah, so I think it's time to think about whether I should learn wall tiling first and then floor tiling or the other way. Software engineers get cooked slowly like frogs.
If you get good at walls, floors are easy. Well, wall layout is usually easier, but you can spot a bad layout on either one. So probably start with kitchen and bathroom countertops. Hope this helps! ᕙ( • ‿ • )ᕗ
for couple of weeks now, the copilot has been providing me with total nonsense as a first suggestion, the second one is most of the time the correct one
why only VS Code though? why dont you maintain feature parity and roll these features out to Jetbrains plugins? If not, why dont you just pull the plugin out.
That feeling when you realize, you are now the co-pilot.
😮😮😮😂😂
But co means both, no?
@@mickael450450 No. There's a main pilot, and a co-pilot

Which is harder actually. :)

Fun fact i used to code everything myself back then, now i only develop a proper prompt for deekseep then review and adjust x)
Review? Naaaa just keep prompting until you get what you want
pretty much. the trick is though, you still have to know how the heck to code
TDD just took on a new name: Tab Driven Development.
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Lol
This is a really good example of a high quality feature walkthrough. The entire demo felt very tight.
Finally a reason to write tests. Or should I say, generate tests.
Nice of you to merge the fork (aka “Cursor”) 😂
hope they dont forget to delete the branch
'JetBrains Co-Pilot cries in the corner'
fr i use jet brains IDE and copilot too they outdated them or something not same features as the video maybe they lazy to update

Within two years, all programmers are going to forget what they learned in twenty years.
only the ones that use the tools too much and get lazy
If you don’t need it, then there’s no point in learning it anymore

Nice progress guys, much awaited features, congrats! 🎉
For those asking how to activate the edit feature: you need VS Code insiders edition and Copilot/Copilot Chat insiders editions.
Thank God I disabled the suggestion feature a week ago, before I forgot how to type on the keyboard.
When is this coming to JetBrains IDEs?
I'm so impressed with this feature.
My top favorite feature of Copilot is it writing my commit messages 🙂
This new Curs... VSCode updates looks 🔥
Please bring this to Jetbrains plugins as well
Image capability is awesome 🎉
I updated co-pilot but still I don't see that option. Neither I can use agent mode
@@thesaurabh113 it is available in vscode preview
This will get you promoted at work 🎉
Amazing updates! It looks similar as Cursor and is what we've been expecting!
Copilot gets better and better...thanx.
Copilot would be my go to if they add windsurf like file/section selection.
It doe
It does, but maybe only in VsCode.
If only copilot had a bigger context. It frequently falls over on anything other than a very simple task. It really struggles when a file gets to a few hundred lines.
A file shouldn't really get to a few hundred lines 😉
Somehow, copilot returned
Very nice updates and features! I would love to know what effort is being used by o3-mini in Github Copilot!
When can we expext similar release for IntelliJ idea Community Edition

I can't see the `agent` option in edit mode.
tested yesterday and it was way behind Cursor Windsurf and Augement
I don't see the agent drop-down is it just me ??
Even i cant do you know why
same for me
Please make it better than cursor
Why?
Perfect prompt 🎉!😅
@@pesetskyps cause I pay copilot for a year and find out cursor is better than copilot :(
will it be available on webstorm or we just gatekeeping features from other IDE/code editors. still waiting for ability to use claude on webstorm
Great feature, just like Cursor Tab!
In the future, I wonder if writing code manually will be looked at the same way people view writing Assembly nowadays.
It's not like nobody can do it, but there's not many people who are very proficient at it.
Just cancelled my copilot subscription yesterday and this shows up
The agent option is not appearing
i cannot use agent mode , its not showing under edit like 3.33
Cursor and Windsurf IDE's cries in the background! 😭😭💀
i don't see the agent option in my copilot chat
very nice, was waiting for it 🥰
is it still using svelte 4? only claude sonnet knows how to use svelte 5. o1 and o3 both dont know how to use svelte 5
Wow, that's great.
this goes crazy
Great work! There's no shame in emulating the best bits of Cursor.
Finally I can let the agent do all the work while I sit and play Minecraft
My issue with autocomplete is that l feel is too invasive. I have it manually with a “ctrl+,” key binding
Thank for sharing👍
when will this come to jetbrains IDEs
Is this available for IntelliJ?
Great job team🎉
Thank you!
When are these coming to JetBrains IntelliJ?
in agent can you add browser so that it can use latest things and many more.
Can it please be easier to make copilot see my entire project directory? (At least the structure and filenames).
Tab suddenly becoming the most used key ever is so funny. I wish there were a graph.
So all features from Cursor basically?
Agent mode is great. Getting rate limited and told to go sit in a corner for 34 minutes not so much :(
My Copilot has been bugged for about a year, only ever giving me a single line suggestion in all IDEs I use. What's with that?
Mine already suggested the N-word one day non stop LOL
What did you say to it? 😅
@@polychenko8717 I called it a Clanker one time 👀

Excellent update
This is what I was waiting for 😋
Awesome thank you 🙌
When will it come to Webstorm ?
I can now offload writing unit tests to Github Copilot Agent 🔥
this is exactly what codeium windsurf has provided for 2+ months now
as a Jet brains user.... i searously start thinking of going back to VS Code after 3 years of subscription :(
I really really want to meet that 75yo with a 1:07 HM time 😂
what about support for visual studio 2022 ?
Great update
Its not clear to me how I use this
Copilot was buggy and i don't think that i'm going back after cursor

I can’t even get GPT go help generate correct code sometimes. I don’t see this being my daily driver.

will this work in neovim?

Wow! Looks awesome 😃
it's not appear in my copilot yet ?
Same here
use Insiders version
yes finallyyy!
I find copilot way too noisy. Going to turn that off on Monday.
ah, yes, let's generate a bunch of boilerplate
Why can one person make Cline, while the entire Microsoft lags behind all its competitors?
its not capable yet to go over heavy files with like more than 300-400+ lines.
ok so copied all the features what cursor already had, let's see what they bring us now :)
How do you enable agents? I don't see it in Edit or Chat mode.
