I personally think doubles is very boring and chaotic, not sure how that's really possible but I just don't fw it. Maybe Smash has ruined me with co-op stuff, idk.
I like singles when it's not so sweaty
I think the Doubles matches are extremely fun, but def mainly if you have a friend to pick with. Combos like Batman and Shaggy are absolutely dirty, but solos will always be superior because the fun of a fighting game is seeing who’s better mechanically, and playing in doubles by nature removes that part of the equation to an extent.

try triple green. coffeezilla, trigonometry, and the triple jump
you’d have to train some of those perks tho to get them

It's pretty obvious how good void is at platform fighters, he should either drop Shiek or drop ultimate all together. It's hard to find someone who still plays smash around here anyways, i think it's starting to fade out because of how boring it is now.

I like singles traditionally, but after playing doubles it has it’s place for sure equal footing
Really hope we can opt out of stages in the future. I hate that scooby mansion stage. In brawlhala you can stop one map from showing up (at least in ranked) so if that doesnt happen hopefully theres a ranked stage list for when that comes out

Was playing Singles yesterday, stayed alive until roughly 220-230 damage on Shaggy vs Finn, I legit felt bad at one point that I wasn't getting sent off the stage 😭

I'm a t and j player I'm so confused on how you do the ground combo it seems extremely fast and difficult

My tactic: spamm all the buttons, wildly dashing, not knowing what the fk I'm doing.i hit one combo, then it's game over 4 me. I don't know when to dodge, when not to, or dodge jump over someone. Really appreciate all the tips for some noob!!
Amazing. I do fine with Jake, but Tom and Jerry are long-term aspirational. They’re so tricksy and complicated, they’ll take me a while to get right. But Void here is godlike and stylish. My notebook is OUT.

I use coffezilla, that’s flamable doc, and make it rain. But I imagine those 2 utility perks come in handy with the cooldown times.

This game comes across to kiddy and beta for me. Don’t like the frame data. Ultimates better imo but I like the concept they’re going with this game. Room for much improvement.
I think T&J actually make a lot of sense. Needles are a huge part of Sheik’s gameplan, and they require a lot of precision to combo off of effectively. That kind of precision with projectiles translates pretty well to T&J’s playstyle.

best tom and jerry perks? i’m having such a debate choosing what ones are the best. I really only use damage perks (red ones) like dead shot and make it rain dog, but the 3rd slot im always changing out for shirt cannon, lumpt space punch, wildcat brawler, painted target, etc. there’s an array of good perks and i’m aware but what are the 3 for tom?

You just hold down while you're hitting it.
I'd suggest putting neutral special and neutral normal on buttons so you can do those without accidentally doing tilt attacks.

you do realize there has to always be a rank 1.. if 2 people ever played 1 match one would be rank 1 and the other would be rank 2..

Well to be fair, a good chunk of us played the game back in march. Some people already have hundreds of hours in this game total, well over 500 even if you count all the test and since release.

tbf he's only rank one because at times you can get people who haven't played the game at 1v1 so when rank mode comes out it will be very interesting if he holds rank 1
