Just used this 10 mins ago 11/2/2023....man ive tried 10 different "easy reaper kills".....and this was the only seriously easy/simple one that worked!!!!! Thanks man. BTW, i,m early game, not even traveled through Fen and did this with 40 in Inferno, took 140 lobbed fireballs. It went quick. Jumped on my Radiant 50 toon and got the Eye on that 1 too. No complaints here!
I don't know if you will read this. But there is a "fix" for the brick character on umbral ending, simply reset your game and everything turns to normal after the beggining of the game. The best way to know it's working correctly is if the shortcut door to upper calrath is locked at the beggining of the game. Had to edit because of a mistake, late to even notice it, after all it was late here after i wrote the comment. If you have the shortcut door open, that playthrough is bugged and i hope they fix this completely, that fix is only temporary after all.
I could see doing this with a marksmen crossbow early on as well. If you're lucky enough to get it to drop from the marksmen enemies. It has very high base damage on upgrades and you get the weighted crossbow bolts not too far into the game, around forsaken fen/fitzory's gorge. Just as an alternative to buying the key since they doubled the price of the key in the latest patch.
the real easiest reaper kill is to use the eye of lydia the mad witch that gives you infinite ammo, the equip the banner of protection and the banner from judge clerics rememberance shop, spam the banners down and just sit there while the red reaper kills himself and cant even hurt you because the banner spam is too op, this also works on most bosses up untill you get to ng+2
This did not work for me at all. After his initial pop up on the main platform, he went under and popped up on the swing with his usual, charming one-shot.
he hasnt come on the swing with me, but i would say if he did I would block (which should stop the one shot) and then hurry and jump to the main platform and try again

@@cleverfoxsol ive been searching high and low for vids of people fighting it normally and i havent seen a single one 😭😭😭😭. ive only seen people in the comments sayin they easily beat it but havent seen any proof of this. i really think the reaper needs nerfing, especially since the vigor rewards has been nerfed and hardly seems worth it anymore
First of all can somebody tell me what that red flame around his head is . And second of all don't waste your time trying to do any videos that tell you to stand somewhere where you're supposed to be safe they fixed that problem the red ripper will get you no matter where you are standing.
