Looks nice! I’m in the process of gathering everything to start my scape. Just ordered some acrylic rods and plan to use this same mortar! So thanks for the tips!
This looks great, however as it seems that it's all been cemented together inside the tank as one piece, it will be very heavy and difficult to take out or move?
One tip, art live rock can give some dust. Put your send in when you have removed the dust. I have real reef roch and i love it. I need to add always phosfate and some times nitrate. Wit sea rock you have always phosfate problems and inbalance. You can also design your rocks out of the reef with plumbing as backbone fore advanced reef structures
He ordered mostly normal with a few shapes and a few arches, it's personal preference but I think tanks look best with a mixture of different shapes and sizes of rock
@@RealReefingTV thanks. I'm trying to find how to order individual but most are generic packs of 4 called shapes. Arches of course but yours seemed to have a lot of variety.
You should drop the "Save Money" part of your intro when you are aquascaping with around $700 worth of CaribSea Life Rock in a $3000 RedSea tank, brah. Seriously though, looks awesome and I might be copying you just a little bit ;)
I like to think that sharing the info and products helps reefers make an informed decision right for their tanks, and save money by not buying something that's not going to work.🤷♂️ I'm glad you like the build though👍 hope it helps!
Did you use all of the 100lb of rock? If not how much was left over? BTW thanks for the video as I'm looking at using this rock so its good to have a practical hands on review like this.
Yeah these rocks are somewhat expensive but make for a great scape👍 he did not use all of the rock there had to be more than 100 pounds there. I would say he used about 100. And had 50 left over.
I can only find 40 lbs and 20 lbs boxes of CaribSea Life Rock. Did you order 2 * 40 lbs boxes and 1 * 20 lbs box or is it possible to get one 100 lbs box ?
Awesome looking scape Cody nothing like giving yourself a pat on the back you deserved it. Keep your own scape unless it is bugging you Sack the camera man
RealReefingTV yeah you can let him off this time but tell him it better not happen again lol You did an awesome job with the scape looks great can’t wait to see it with the water in
This would have been a perfect video without the background music. I could only give 4 stars if that was an option. There are so many “almost” great vids on TH-cam but the unnecessary background music ruins them. Other than that a good vid.
Feel like I was on a boat watching this
Caribsea shapes rock 👍
Wooo amazing what size of this giant arches it’s 18-24-36”???
The spoon is the true hero. Great vid
For the win 🥄 😂
Did you use the 18” arch on the right side of the tank?
Looks awesome mate
Thanks!
looks good!
Love it. Looking forward to the progress of this build
Thanks!
nice video
Nice Nice ❤
Tim's camera skills? After Dramamine I'm ready for some aquascaping....
I 😍 that rock. Dang it is sick!!!
Nice scape 👍🏼

The mortar was great. You shouldn't have any issues! Good luck with the scape
I must say I am really enjoying this series too. Please keep the vids coming awesome scape I want to use that cement you guys are using for my scape
Thanks! Next is all the equipment he bought for this build. So so much lol
This looks great, however as it seems that it's all been cemented together inside the tank as one piece, it will be very heavy and difficult to take out or move?
Sweet!!

Good job and yes Tim’s videoing is shocking although it did get better 🤣 great video buddy
😂😂 he did have a 4yo beating him up while filming that one scene so I'll give him a pass hahah
Aww Tim ....you had one job dude...one job 🤦🏻♂️ lol
😂
👍🏼
Excellent. Please let me knock how to purchase online the same rocks which you have shown along with joining putty or glue.
Go to the description of the video hit read more and it's listed in there along with the other equipment on Tims build
Could I use this rock for freshwater?
Nice job bro! What brand of cement? And what size arch ? 18 or 24??
Don’t give up your day job Tim 🤣
There are many different rocks there. What kind would you recommend to get that? Shapes, arches, normal etc.

Cody awesome vid as usual what type of cam do you because they are very clear vids
Thanks 😊 even though I feel like most of this video was mostly out of focus. I use a cannon t6i
What size arch is that giant arch? Which options did you purchase (all arches)?
Tripod. And better focus. Nice series, very informative.
So are these the shapes or original because the links show the regular life rocks
He did buy some of the caves and arches. Most are original
I'm sea sick
Great vids, but your audio is too light. I have to crank the volume to hear you. Keep up the good work.
Yeah this whole video was hard to put together but the content was worthwhile.

I think he ordered 5 20 lbs bags but you can do 2 40lbs bags and a 20lbs bag. It's probably cheaper that way
Jeez am i watching aquascaping or the French connection 😂
Awesome looking scape Cody nothing like giving yourself a pat on the back you deserved it.
Keep your own scape unless it is bugging you Sack the camera man
Right?!? Lol however he did have his 4yo beating him up while filming so I'll let it slide haha
RealReefingTV yeah you can let him off this time but tell him it better not happen again lol
You did an awesome job with the scape looks great can’t wait to see it with the water in
Please use manual focus
tripod
