Grant is a decent human and Ezra has fully given himself to the "I AM HOLLYWOOD, I WILL PARTY AND DEBASE MYSELF AND OTHERS, PRAISE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" mindset, so of course in his "mind" no one ever deserves a role until he personally grants his approval. IMHO, Grant and the CW cast are FAR better than his little movie, save perhaps Keaton as I loved his return, and the bit at the end with current Batman well they had a selection to go to, didn't they?

I see that completely differently. Grant Gustin is so much better actor than Ezra. What Grant has shown in the 9 seasons of The Flash in terms of acting performance that Ezra in his entire life will not even begin to create.
All I want is for Grant Gustin to make some sort of cameo in the movies as an older more experienced flash

Personally, Grant Gustin is the "FLASH" for my generation. Growing up watching the series, yes it took a hit for the worst, but what didn't was his acting and portrayal of Barry Allen. He poured his heart and soul into the character which is something I just never get from Ezra Miller. I think James Gunn should've still gone with the Flashpoint concept but instead had Grant Gustin as the second Flash in the movie trying to fix the timeline from his experience of knowing what could happen. Especially because of how he's messed with it plenty of times. Then by the end of the movie either go with option A which is to end Grant Gustin with a big bang and have his character sacrifice himself for the greater good on the Silver screen. Or B, have Ezra die somehow and have Grant Gustin as the new official face of the Flash for the DCEU, or the DCU as James would put it. But I just don't personally respect the heads of Warner Brothers for making so many stupid decisions these past few years. From getting rid of Henry Cavill, to ruining Justice League, and finally just outright not even putting Grant as the cameo in the new movie but instead Zoom. That right there was just DISRESPECTFUL. The point in movies is to draw in people who are interested. NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN EZRA MILLER. On top of that, they didn't even make the movie about the Flash. It was just a movie meant to fit the agenda for James and the heads of Warner Bros. I've said it once and I've said it again, MAKE GRANT GUSTIN THE FLASH FOR THE DCEU. He not only has his entire backstory ready for audiences to connect with him, but also there is no need to really make a origin story. Just right out the bat make an amazing stand alone movie that one could only get from the comics. Instead there was an entire half ass (not even half ass, just terrible TERRIBLE MOVIE) film meant as an origin story that wasted time, money, and effort. If Grant was the Flash from the beginning or even now, there wouldn't need to be filler movies. On top of that they can start bringing in A class characters like the Arrow. NO ONE CAN TELL ME PEOPLE DON'T WANT STEPHEN AMELL IN THE DCU. Finally Arrow face to face with Batman or other characters fans want. We need to get rid of these corport heads and get ones that actually tend to what fans want. DEDICATED FANS AT THAT!! If it wasn't for us dedicated fans going to the movies for when Marvel Infinity Saga first began, the massive rise of Superhero movies wouldn't be where they are today. And it shows that now they are getting too big for themselves because they want quantity movies over quality movies thinking we the fans will just go because we will. I HAVE NOT BEEN TO A SINGLE OPENING NIGHT MARVEL OR DC MOVIE IN YEARS. And it shows why. I used to wait in antcipation for the movies, now I just *Shrugg* "ohh that's out already? Ohh well, I'll just wait for it to be on Disney+ or HBO". Make me want to go again, because Oppenheimer seems much better than the Marvels ever will.

Grant Gustin's particular talent is when he's actually not in the suit. The guy was excellent with his range.
Some guys can't do emotional scenes very well, and one of Grant's best scenes is when he went back in time to comfort his mom as she died. Grant pulls on the heartstrings and definitely gives the character a lot of heart.
He has a way of conveying his pain without having to use words, and the times he cries are very convincing. Just about every scene with him and the actress that plays his mother (name escapes me at the moment) is a home run.
He's good as The Flash as well, but he's definitely the definitive Barry Allen for me, similarly to how Andrew Garfield is the definitive Spider-Man and Tobey Maguire is the definitive Peter Parker.
Grant can very much be The Flash, and I'm even an advocate of him to play Barry in any medium. I'd be totally down for him to play an older version of Barry in the new DCU under James Gunn.
I'd consider Grant as much of a pick for Barry as Matt Ryan is as John Constantine.
Grant was born to play that role. And no one can say otherwise.

Grant's version of Flash is S-tier, just like Tobey Maguire's version of Spider-Man.
But respect to the other actors of the other versions of their respective hero because they're not bad, in hindsight.
Grant is a great actor who is given a shit script, ezra is an amazing actor with an amazing script.

Not just Grant but it would be amazing to see John be put up on the big screen as well, he's done such an amazing job coming back to different iterations of the character he played back in the 90's and as Barry's father.
Except Barry from Earth 90 (the one that you speak of from the 90's tv show, John) is the Flash that took Earth 1 Flash (Grant) place and sacrificed himself in Crisis On Infinite Earths

Sure, the series as a whole might have feel off and is sometimes bad but that's nature of TV shows for you. I don't know if this is an original idea or not but TV series seem to be controlled by the 5 Season Rule if they make it pass 5.
1 -5 would be usually great to somewhat respected. After that point, it goes down the drain. The reason varies but it's usually the actors (main cast) getting fatigued, writers becoming lazy, budget cutback, actors not liking each other, tough crowd etc.

I wish they chose Grant Gustin as the main flash in the movies. I grew up watching the flash back in 2015, 5th episode into season 2 when I was randomly scrolling threw the tv.

I know the comics portray that but at that point he had his powers of 6 years and you think he would be more mature and serious like that especially with influences like batman and superman and Grant fits the role perfectly begin adult enough but also begin Jubilant and having some spark of still the nerdy flash that's cool.

The thumbnail was super misleading. I was expecting Ezra to say some nasty things about Grant. Nope. They're best buddies.
In my book Grant is the one and only Flash. I never watched Arrowverse growing up because I watched as a parent... so I dony have a childhood bias here... I thought Ezra was totally mis-cast as the Flash. I think Grant was more believable as The Flash, its about the little mannerisms and improv moments that make an actor shine when they are in the role of a lifetime. Ezra just came off as an unlovable awkward kid to me, while Grant had an essential core of maturity and deliberation to his portrayal. The tv show left a little to be desired a lot of the time, but I never thought Grant's acting was part of the problem.

Id argue marvel’s issue is worse. Agents of shield was part of the MCU until it wasn’t and that was mostly because of management issues. It’s also the reason why we got inhumans instead of mutants and precisely why the terrigen mist was made to kill mutants in the comics.

I just wish we could go back in time and make the current flash show better because arrowverse barry deserved way much better. if he were to play barry fallen in the dceu it'd be weird because he isn't as young as when he started the show. i bet he could still have the same energy but idk it feels just weird that someone who is old would play someone who is supposed to be young. but if he came in as a older more experienced flash just not as the one in the cw. then maybe it could work out.

Honestly when I first heard of the new Flash being in the DC movies (before his first appearance) I was sooo excited but when I saw it wasn’t Grant I was EXTREMELY disappointed and ezra tbh was a huge disappointment in my own opinion. He would be alright if my expectations weren’t already high. I first heard someone was replacing Grant and I was like “ok they Have to be way better if he isn’t the Flash, he was perfect and already had the face of the show and an amazing character just with bad writing. Then I got more disappointed after watching how the new flash character was and the very noticeable difference in appearance (facial bone structure, hair and eye colors) I began to stop watching the rest of his series (did not see anymore dc with that flash or his movie)

Boo this or whatever, however they BOTH make excellent Flash. Gustin is an incredible actor who brought heart to the character. His knowledge and control over the speed force was impressive.
He made mistakes, tried to fix them, showed uncertainty leading to how strong he really was. Time and again he overcame horrible situations. It helped that he had all the support from Joe and Iris growing up.
Miller's Flash's childhood isn't explained. There is no Joe to support nor guide him and he meets Iris in college. As for friends, that only happens in JLA.
The Flash in the movies is as different from night to day to that of the show and that was what the creative minds wanted. It wasn't meant as an insult or downplay to Gustin. And as for Miller insulting Grant, he did not say he was better:
"Grant Gustin Fans Are Not Pleased About The Flash Director Saying Ezra Miller's The Only One Who Could Play The Character"
