I love this video. Thanks brother for enacting the Passover to show how Messianic Jews celebrate and interpret the Passover. It's very enlightening to the Christians. I'll show to many Christians in our Bible Study class. God bless. 💯
@@purelightministries THANK YOU for your response I am looking for scipture verses to coincide with the feast so I can read from them if I am going to follow this meal type.
@@lebnewman8152 Hello, the Book of Exodus chapter 12 and Leviticus chapter 23 are great places to start. Also 2 Kings chapters 22 & 23 provide a wonderful story pertaining to The Passover. The Gospels also contain many references and narratives to this special time. In addition, there are many Messianic Seder Haggadah resources available online. God Bless!
Hi Brother, Can you help me with a question: 1) Are the Christians required to celebrate Passover? or Can they celebrate it if they wish? 2) How do Christians celebrate Passover as part of the Lord's Feast? According to Exodus 12:48 'If a stranger shall sojourn with you and would keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised'. In such a case, Christians cannot celebrate Passover as many of them are not circumcised. 3) Or should LORD's Supper be regarded as continuation (fulfillment) of Passover? 4) What are the LORD's feasts Christians can or should celebrate as part of the Lord's institution of Feast? We're going to deal with this subject in our Bible Study next week. I trust you will give me valuable advice. As always I appreciate your sharing. 😇
Hello 🙂 Thanks for reaching out! I'll do my best to help you. 1) Like any other commandment, believers are not 'required' in a legalistic sense to do anything. However, we should possess a desire to live according to God's ways. Doing this can be different for each individual person based on certain convictions at different points in their particular journey. 2) Because the Passover has been fulfilled in Messiah, we can rejoice in the spirit of this reality, for the scripture says, "For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth." 1 Cor. 5.8. Also, its important to remember that we must first and foremost "remove the foreskins of our hearts". Regarding physical circumcision, once again, the extant of this would depend on an individual's conviction. "For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is being a new creation." Gal 6.15. 3) Yes, in certain aspects. When done biblically, I believe these events can be treated as one and the same. 4) Because there is no longer a temple in Jerusalem, and because we are not part of that same physical theocracy, it's my understanding that believers should celebrate any and every Feast as they feel convicted to celebrate. May the LORD bless you as you connect with Him during His special appointed times 🥰✝️
