I definitely like Mamamoo more than BlackPink. Mamamoo girls are known for their vocal abilities and Moonbyul (the rapper) is one of the best female rappers in k-pop. They have such a unique style to their music. And they are freaking hilarious.
When it comes to LIVE performance, you can say MAMAMOO is the best in KPOP. There is nothing can compare with them. You can check the fancam channel e.g. Mera, Rock Music, supershinstudio, TheGsd......ect. And also, you can check other group stages from these channels too, then you can tell the differences. They MUST be this good, because they are not as young as other girls supposed to be when they debuted. I just checked the fancam from M2 channel, almost 80% fanchant was from fan girls, that means less fan boys will like artist in this age, that's pity. And I'm glad you like them.

Lol, fan war. But seriously I can see why they'd like them more. Personally I love Blackpink alot but there are times when I just wanna listen to a more mature sound. Blackpink are younger and fresher and while Mamamoo aren't that much older, they do have a more mature sound to them. Plus they've got a poppy sound but also a good jazzy vibe when they want to.
Mamamoo can do ANY genre of music and SERVE it to you LIVE! They're well known for it! They're involved in writing, composing and arranging their songs and all have fantastic voices - even the rapper has a beautiful singing voice. They know how to perform & actually engage with the audience while giving you cute choreography and looking 🔥🔥😍😍 I also really love that they know how to laugh at themselves (and each other!) & always look like they love what they are doing! Oh you guys would love Mamamoo (Piano Man, their Delilah cover) and their independent work. Moonbyul (the rapper) has a song with the best dancer from Red Velvet. Hwasa (the one with the jaguar) just released a track that is a banger. Wheenin (the one with dark hair and tattoos in this video) has been killing it independent for years. Solar released a few tracks that showcase her vocals as well, so fire. Gotta edit this because I don't feel I gave Solar enough credit. She's incredible on both her songs and the Mamamoo tracks. I like Mamamoo more due to their vocals/performances and personalities. Also I’m older gen Kpop fan and I tend to prefer the older groups like 2NE1 and 4minute(both which have sadly disbanded). BlackPink has some catchy choruses but that’s about all that I feel for them musically. Lisa is my bae though.
This was my first song by them and I could already tell there was something very different and unique that sets them aside from the other kpop girl groups especially when I listen to starry night....I’m not knocking the other groups but I could never get into them..with mamamoo they sound so beautiful in their own and their voices are very distinctive compared to the other girls

I think the difference between Mamamoo and other groups is that they’re older. Solar is 27, they truly act like the adults they are. Specially since Yellow Flower, they’ve been settling into this image that they’re not teens and they’re not trying to look like they are. Mamamoo is also called the best vocal girl group of Korea, their performances truly make them shine. That’s what I like about them, and why they’re my favorites.

She was supposed to dance next to the pole but she thought it would be better to use it so she scrambled to get a 1 hr lesson the day before the shoot. She's fit af and her abs are the gg equivalent of BTS Jungkook's. Pole girl should be her new nickname (she has many already). Mamamoo always pushes the kpop envelope. Egotistic is from the album Red Moon, which is the 2nd in a 4 album project for 2018 in which they're expressing aspects of themselves by exploring colors & seasons and one member is represented in each album title and gets a solo song. So Red Moon = summer, red, and Moonbyul, the group's primary rapper, and Egotistic obviously paints a picture of their red-hot sexiness, fierceness, independence, confidence and anger through the steamy sensuality of flamenco & reggaeton. The other songs on the album are completely different styles, including a hilarious dis rap called Sleep in the Car (they all rap, btw). Moonbyul's solo is called Selfish, which is actually a collab with her good friend Seulgi from Red Velvet. The Selfish MV takes a concept that Mamamoo calls "cute bluffing" to another level (see also their song Yes I Am). I gotta say that Mamamoo live is another level, you can watch the same performance 20 times and they kill every one of them, making each one of them unique, their stage presence is extraordinary. Blackpink is amazing, but they are still pretty new and they need more confidence when performing live, but I love both of them. You should react to some Mamamoo live, maybe some Immortal Songs performance!!!

I like Mamamoo because they have a lot of songs with positive messages like yes I am that are up beat. But not every song is serious like Aze Gag which is just ridiculous. I like Blackpink but there sound and messages just aren't as great to me. TO ME.
