Just...damn. I'm blown away. I never expected to hear the whole suite performed live.
Bobby Weir is a national treasure!
Wow. As a longtime Deadhead who still has ticket stubs to 21 GD shows… this was AMAZING !
Yep ... and rest in peace to Robert Hunter for these inspired lyrics .
Right!? Sounds incredible
This version just blow's me away.
Was already about to wake and bake to terrapin when I saw this in my notification. The universe works in mysterious ways
✌️
Imagine That 🙏
Love violin
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Bobby never seem amazo me. Truly awesome. Thank you Bob...
I could listen to this all day
If Bobby Weir and Wolf Bros ever decided to release the two nights at RCMH as a box, I’d be first in line to buy it.
Me too!
Count me in … for starters, let’s include this stellar gem 💎 ✌️🌹⚡️❤️😎🕊🎟🎉
Right behind ya!
Finally! I saw the entire Terrapin Suite last night at Bob Weir and Wolf Bros in Charleston. I was with my son and I didn't even cry :) Just standing there lost in the song, in the music, the moment. Bliss. When I was my son's age (21) I had always wanted to hear the entire suite. Yep checked this box and adding to deep dead memories. Thanks Bob and family for sharing.
Thanks from Italy! (Yes, Deadheads are everywhere).
Glad to see them across the globe! ❤️🌎
And In Russia
✌🏼🌹💀
india! weir everywhere.
...and that's the first time I've ever heard anyone from the Dead play the full Terrapin suite. VERY nice. (Great drummer, too)
Yes! This is a very rare! I got on the bus in '77 because of the Terrapin Suite on the album drop! I love this!!
They play it all the time though
Trippy!
Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and The Terrapin Family Band did it in 2017
@@pak7417 I don't think they said album "drop" back in '77. I don't think they even said album "release".
I heard the Dead play it all the way through not long after the album was released. Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ. Garcia was on fire.
This is a masterpiece version.
Just be grateful🙏🏼
Love this line-up. Love Weir, "the other one". This music is as beautiful as any he has been involved with. We are truly blessed.
One of the best renditions of Terrapin I've been lucky enough to see live. This show rocked!
Rest in Peace Robert Hunter ... thank you for giving us these lyrics .
BOB WEIR... great... from Brazil!!!
But don't forget Robert Hunter who wrote The Inspired lyrics and may He rest in peace

I freaking love Bob...What a ride from the Acid Tests, knowing people like Neil Cassidy, Summer of Love, a founding member of the Dead, not to mention the actual music part...Just insane a true slice of Americana ...
Amazing!!! The compass always points to Terrapin!!
was lucky enough to see this live...
same here. magical night
Low key fire right here
Would be neat if they had some backup singers join the pack for a show or two. Loved what the backup singers brought to Furthur.
Dang. Good stuff. Bobby keeps on keepin’ on. Love it.
Mr. Weir is a American Tresure. This is truly a work of Art.
Thanks Bob
F@#$IN Love it Bobby!!! Thank you for this amazing ride!
The drop of Terrapin Station in 1977 got me on the bus... Terrapin Suite (Medley) >>> me a deadhead. Thanks Bobby for doing this! We were there the night before this but our friends got to experience it live... happy for them. I'm good with a video!! Great shows!
JUST FU#KING MIND BLOWING GREAT!!!
Lovely performance of this. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank You, Bob! You keep giving and I appreciate your talent so much.
This hits me in the feels. Terrapin has always been special to me. Was my first Dead cassette my brother left behind as a gift. And it truly was a gift! Thank you for the music and memories. And Bobby is still committed and going strong. And that is so beautiful to see. Loved hearing them crush this one!!
And rest in peace to Robert Hunter for these inspired lyrics .
Sounds great! Thank you
Thank You Bobby Man!
Awesome- thanks for the upload
It only took 42 years, but I now feel a little less bad about missing '80. Great shows!
Were you in prison?
This is incredibly jazzy and that is a good thing for sure.
At A Siding! That was wonderful! And that's not a word I use lightly... Thank you!
Miss you
Man! Just incredible.
This just makes me miss you more! ⚡🎸🎶✌🏻
Right on, Bobby!
This is ducking awesome
BOBBY ROCKS!!
Just got my tickets, Row A. I sure miss the seeing the the GD back in the day. "The fat man sings and the thin man spits" I can not wait to see Bobby, so glad to see he is still passionate with his music.
"The Fat man Rocks and the Skinny man Spits"
Consider your knowledge
Increased!😮
Beautifully shot! It was such a fun night live!!!!
Bobby Weir is a bad Mal Fal for real! He was at every Grateful Dead show that ever was and he is still going! If he can still get up and play, then for damn sure I can get up and dance! ☮️☯️❤️😎🎸🎶🔥☀️😋🕺🤸♂️🤹♂️🧘♂️😘
Very cool, I played with Jeff back in High School SSF, please say hello..!
Anyone going to Phoenix Oct 30? I haven't been to even a concert in years. This sounds SO good!
HBD Bobby !!! Jay Lane Primus 👏🎃💀
Jay Lane fucking loves this, and it shows!
His job is to shed light ❤✨🤩🌈✌🏼
Well now!
Bobby's as good as ever wolf bros too dead and co as well Bobby's amazing and surrounds himself with talented people and it really shows they all shine bright!
Man I wish I could agree. I love Bobby to the moon and back but his vocals are definitely at a low point.
@@I_do.not_fearyou agreed unfortunately, but his guitar playing is still on point, he’s 74, and he’s bobby fuckin weir. as someone who was never old enough to experience the dead live, i’m so very grateful that bobby is still playing, even if his voice isn’t where it once was. :)
@@I_do.not_fearyou sure his solos aren’t the greatest either, but he’s not jerry so i don’t expect him to be. he keeps it down with all the cool chords and invasions :)
inversions*
Well until you do what he does who are you to judge
Beautiful. Bobby W is such an extraordinary artist, it's impossible to imagine that Jerry and Phil actually fired him in '67 or '68 I think, but of course
he refused to accept that verdict, kept coming in to practice with the band, and it all went away...... thanks be to God
❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Mr. Weir, my best friend and I are coming to see yalls tomorrow in Simpsonville, SC; could you all please play Terrapin Station? Thank you!
Terrapin Station start at a point.
Love this, great music and talented musicians! Wonder why Bobby went to playing a Fender lately?!
I dunno but it sure sounds fantastic
I can only guess, but as I have both fender Strat and d’Angelico guitars, the strat is lighter in weight but still a great sounding guitar.
He is getting older and deeper. 💗
God bless Bobby!!!!
Wolf dudes...smooth......
👍😃
This band threatens to put me back into another 4 hour sleep after I awake from a normal lengthy snooze. A little fcking energy pls.
I can't believe anyone listens to this on purpose lol.
That's cos they ain't got Jerry! ❤😂😂 Now Bob is a God,gag, to those who never knew our. Beautiful
Jerry G.'s Music right in front of him hundreds of times!!!❤. All Bob did was t-r-y to follow The Master.😊😊😊😊
BTW they did the entire Terrapin , all 5 parts at
Englishtown, NJ. September 3,1977😂❤
And some of these peeps say Jerry followed Bob, huh??? You crazy! NEVER!😂😂😂
That's my favorite Dead tune. Next time Bobby comes to LA, I will be going to see him! That sounds like the full song, as performed on the album. Is it?
Yes it's the whole thing
With Javk of Roses?
@@theworldisavampire3346 prob not. That was done in 2017 @ Lockn
Hi BOBBY WEIR
Hes so old now Weir looks like the captain from Titanic
Any slower and they'll be playing it backwards.
Thanks for sharing this Bobby! And you know what brother? Remember that Jerry said he wouldn’t be caught dead singing one of your songs? But for you - you know, since you’re with the dead and company, it kinda works out - singing Jerry songs - ha! Now get back on the road brother, learn how to read, get off the dope, and have some fun! Robert frost
Can someone share with me when lady with a fan, terrapin station, at a siding, etc. start and end. I found out all these different parts have a name but which is which?
you can check wiki for the album track listing. obv won't match this rendition but will give you an idea for when each new section starts.
The Compas always 👉 to
TERRAPIN 🙏😁
This is church!
First time in a long time I've heard Weir sound like Weir vocally. Yeah, the guitar playing is pretty shaky, but what the heck. The guy is almost 80 and it's Terrapin, so...
i was thinking he sounded thin or his age and i realized how lucky i was to be born when and that ive been on the bus since i wasx16 in 94
@@matthewfredricks3063 agree his voice was definitely not great here. I know it sounds dumb but I wish Bobby still had that youthful voice from 74 and before. But then again he's real old.
@@I_do.not_fearyou thank god the core guys are mostly still here... at first i liked phils music the best like 99,01, 02, with warren and jimmy barraco and molo. they had to me better jamminf than ratdog back then. i actually like warrens singing in small doses but now i dont care for phil after hearing about jill and the contract for fare thee well... too much greed prolly why terrapon xroads went belly up ...not a big john mayer fan wish mickey and bill would have been ok with kadelick
Guitar sounds great to me, but he sounds very old. But thats okay because he is.
What a bitchin' version ...
22 8 78
The flute sounds slightly out of tune... Barely flat. But this is nice. Love me a full suite!
K this is badassery from start to finish. And the only reason they do the whole sin and is because of Jay Lane. Same thing with Ratdog baj in the day
Its good Bobby is still rockin BUT.....I miss Garcia :(
I'm only here for the Sless =P
Hmm. Never loved Bobby singing Jerry's work. He makes it sound like Bob Dylan. I just can't do it.
🤪🎱🍄🤪🎱🍄🤪🎱🍄🤪🎱🍄🤪🎱
Is he touring yet?
Went to tons of Grateful Dead when I was younger. Loved it. But in the present, I will not see Weir. EVERYTHING is too slow. He took Good Lovin and turned it into High Time.
Cool dude we don't want you here. We don't need people that abandoned the dead family when Jerry died. We're still gonna support the legends that brought the music to us in the first place.
He goes by "Bobby" now?
I know right? It ain’t easy being cheesy 🤣
@@george.s.8491 - trying to keep up with Billy Strings, lol
Please who knows write the names of musicians!!! ❤️🌹🌹🌹
It's Bob Weir and the wolf bros you can find the members on google.
But it's all written by the grateful Dead ✌
Bobby Weir - Guitar, Lead Vocals
Jay Lane - Drums, Backing Vocals
Don Was - Acoustic Bass
Jeff Chimenti - Keyboards, Backing Vocals
Barry Sless - Pedal Steel Guitar
Wolf Pack:
Alex Kelly - Cello
Brian Switzer - Trumpet

@@gtwilson1766 muchas gracias!!! 🤓🤗
What. This is not good. Holy cow man. What a mistake to tune into this.
I love the Dead, and Bob, but this is bloated, self-indulgent and kinda sad. Check Bob’s performance with Billy Strings last weekend at the Ryman. Absolute gold !!!
Better than Dead and Company, which is a major sellout. This music has style and integrity.
Way to go @UncleKicks 🦵🦶🦵 Keep tellin' em to step 🪜 on back 🔙!!!
