      @@simonsan5271 that’s insane ! I was shopping around and saw that many of the costumes are quite expensive (even basic ones) so I imagine that you have to dedicate a lot of resources to have a full knights outfit or this type of tent

      @@EggPlusRadish Not sure about the armor sets... You probably order replicas from blacksmiths. I know some of the outfits from old slavian times are hand made, others are bought. There are companies that sell this sort of things. Its not even that expensive and look awesome. Guys in light woolen tunics, girls in white dresses, long braids, with coral neckleses and flower crowns. These were the times.. although I didnt have opportunity to live back then it all feels strangely close and nostalgic to me.

      @@simonsan5271 I found a cloak that I really like but it was 600 pln I think it’s wool and a reasonable price for the quality but just way out of my budget. If you can afford it and it makes you happy of course I am happy for those guys and their costumes :) even if a little jealous ;)

    In Poland there are some villages, where people do not speak modern polish. Mostly spoken is old polish there from 1920, modern people cannot understand it well, it's like different language sometimes. Other language you can discover is Kashubian. As I was kid I was on a trip with my class 2 times in historical villages (don't remember names of them), where in the first village was old polish, but some people understood modern polish and second village was a Kashubian village, there was only 1 guy speaking polish and all of the villagers were speaking Kashubian. For me it was spooky, because I, as kid had 0 idea about Kashubian and understood maybe 1% and another fun fact, people there lived with old style as it was used to live. No TV, no internet, nothing. Living on their own like hundreds years ago.

    Be careful when visiting Poland! Of course is the safest place in Europe, but Poland is very well known of scamming tourists. In most of very known places tourists get scammed, not only tourists. These places exist for everyone, but with targeting for tourists to visit them with very high prices. My suggestion is not to overprice, because you're eating/drinking at typical tourist trap. I recommend to watch other channels, where the food is tasted and prices are shown. Another recommendation for you is to look for the milk bar. Not every country have it, but in Poland is very famous. Tasty and homemade food at low costs, you must try!

    • @EggPlusRadish
      @EggPlusRadish  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't gotten scam ever luckily in Poland , or maybe I did and did not even notice 😅😆 Milk bar is a great idea! I used to go to them all the time when I was during my studies, but I started to taste the Polish foods that my friends brought back from their families and I really prefer this home cooked meals to the milk bars 😋 But I think it's a great idea for a future video! especially since it is not such an expensive endeavor, we definitely added it already to the to-list 😉Thank you for the idea!

    • @SpinGoal
      @SpinGoal ปีที่แล้ว

      @fermatichebellosei1595 You don't know what a scam is. When you buy something, and the price is higher than 50% as it should be, then it's a scam. From 2022 the prices were increased overall by 100%. When in some places prices are increased by 150% or even more, then of course, it's a scam and many people don't even notice it. One of the biggest scams in Poland is by buying ice cream and it happens in entire country. Most of people don't realize the reality and have 0 knowledge about economy and the prices and you might be scammed without knowing, you have been scammed.
