One of my favorite little details is that when the text is glitching at the beginning of the Paradise Protection Protocol fight, there's a very brief moment where the text reads, "AI Sada has no intention of fighting any more!"
50:39 Vee..I just met you, and this is crazy! But here's a timestamp. Read it homie! (It's a little tidbit but if you can't catch it, it's says "AI Sada has no intention of fighting anymore." I.E the paradise protection protocol overrode her programming because the AI knew it was trying to stop the time machine when it learned what happened to the real professor, and has taken over to initiate the defense protocol installed in the time machine's hardware to keep it running.)
I don’t know if you’re familiar with the Etrian Odyssey series, but the first time I both saw Area Zero and heard the music, I was reminded of the second game; specifically, the final area, called the Forbidden Woods. Like Area Zero, the Forbidden Woods are sunny and beautiful, and have a very pleasant musical score. But at the same time, something is Very Wrong in both places (capitals deserved), and they’re prisons for truly dangerous entities.
We stan AI Sada, AI Sada is the Only Sada who matters !!! Also that cutscene where you first see the second Koraidon/Miraidon ? Never saw it run properly;.
The AIs are woefully and frustratingly underappreciated by the fanbase. I love them so much and it seems most people don't even consider them to be sapient beings. Dude this is a series where ducks made of programming code have been a thing since first gen and yet a thinking robot with human-like emotions is somehow crossing a line?

Ending of this game always makes me cry. When I first played, Arven crying out for a parent he knew was gone got me so hard. And my brain decided that the AI was going to be my new favorite character and all I could think about for the next (let's see here...I beat it in February of 2023 and that has yet to end so...yeah). The AI's kind nature with such a horrible program override them, the closest this series has gotten to body horror when the crystals cover them, their sacrifice to an unknown era (AT BEST they'll both be alone forever. I used to fear that they could lose power, or blip out of existence, but the DLC seems to indicate that they'll be safe even if it doesn't really directly address the matter. But they'll still be *alone*)...god, it still sits in my gut so terribly. And their actions will never be acknowledged because their very existence is a secret. Very few people even learn that the real professor died, much less anything past that. Everyone in this game needs therapy. Everyone in the friend group, everyone in Team Star, the robot, the sandwich dragon... I do think the AI was telling the truth, that the professor loved Arven. But they were so entranced and deluded by the vision of "Paradise" that they put everything else aside. The world where "us three" could be happy...herself, Arven, and the sandwich dragon. The professor was working hard and ignoring everything else so that she could accomplish something so big, and finally stop. Finally go home. The fact that the plan would have destroyed the ecosystem and been a threat to everyone including Arven didn't matter so much. Only that end point. She would have been alive when Arven tried to find her. And since the AI was able to detect us from the beginning, that means Sada would have known Arven was there. But she didn't contact him. She didn't turn him away or try to protect him. She would have been so absorbed in her work that it wouldn't matter. But we know she still had things like love inside her. That's why she died, after all, to protect the other being she had raised its entire life. Some part of her, some part of the cold mad scientist who would destroy the region to get her vision of paradise, still had compassion and care for her loved ones. And it's a strange sense of irony that it may have been the last vestige of clarity left in her that lead to her death. I also think the AI loved Arven as if he was their own (switching back to neutral here because I played Violet). But they couldn't even contact him directly, only speak to him if he happened to be there. And they'll always have memories of the boy they loved as their own son, knowing his era is safe and he's got friends he can rely on, and they'll always miss him.
