Setup is convoluted. I can set up/connect to my API on openrouter and Anthropic but the models don't show up. Uninstalled it, may check again in a month or two.
Currently it is totally not available for daily development. First of all, bugs of cooperation with LLMs. Second, only 5 requests to LLM URLs with out login which is unbelievable ugly!
Very promising but a lot of bugs right now. Mine locks after a couple of prompts and have to restart the IDE. But it can solve problems that Cline and Windsurf get stuck on. Weird.
What are your first impressions of Aide.dev? Does it seem promising? 🤔

Hope it gets traction and lots of dev community support.
Me too, I think it just needs more attention.
I've tried it on multiple devices, Windows 11, 24H2 and it doesn't work on any of them. This app isn't ready.

Good thing I didn't hype it; it still needs a lot of development work.

The agent library they use seems really good.

No wonder its coding isn’t that good.
it is buggy, autocomplete model is not working (multiple providers with no luck to work )
Yes, it has a lot of bugs and still needs more development to make it stable.
I think it's Ctrl+K not Ctrl+I
Inline code generation in docs is cntrl + I , but i will try it and see if it works
