A Dub mix is only as good as the Riddim that is being mixed. This was O.K. but below average, all tasteful mixing with no 'mistakes' but also no adventure.... i think mixing Dub comes with a duty to subvert the Riddim, to deconstruct and dissect the Riddim to reveal unique and novel juxtapositions of sound.... if a Dub mix sounds like King Tubby or Lee Perry or Scientist i think the engineer has failed in the task of subverting and re-contextualizing the Riddim...
