Something happened to the mangaka of the manga and they put it on hiatus. it's been on hiatus since 2006. There's still no word on when it will continue.
It's been years since the manga went on hiatus, like what has it been 6 years now? We can always hope it will get picked up again, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Although atleast it's not because the manga artist just didn't feel like continuing it like with DNAngel, which really pisses me off.
I think when they started Excellion, is when the anime completely veered off of the manga (or the manga wasn't even finished yet. I think the manga was slow to continue, as I am still quite close to where they left off after. that crazy green dude. I am hoping they made a remake like they did with HunterXHunter once BTVB gets longer.
This opening is SOOO misleading. I thought when I watched it the first time that Beet would have that group like his brother. But no. Never. We never see the entire group reunited. :"o
this is the most chill shonen jump opening I've ever heard. it's candy for my ears!

@@homra8970 he broke his right middle finger in 2006 and has healed since then. The series is continuing with the latest vol is released on 2023 July.
