Cat Stevens did very well with this song, but hearing it as sung by the cast of Skins...I can imagine myself as a member of that group....living in their "wild world". Excellent TV show!!!
But she still misses him desperately. I think that's why she's such a broken person in series 7. I believe they agreed to part after an unsuccessful marriage proposal and both partners are regretting their irrevocable decisions not to try to find each other.

They really were! I didn't watch the 2nd Generation, because with last episode of the second season and Chris' death Skins was over for me. It just watched a few minutes of the last one I think, when Cassie visited her Dad and Effy was working in a office? That's when I decided "NO, I'M NOT GONNA WATCH IT".
