You are my go-to priest/bishop just to hear you give such inspiring meditations before each decade and prayed in such wonderful locations that are peaceful and soul-filling. How beautiful to pray the Rosary, to ponder and take to heart the Sacred Mysteries. These prayers are made even more poignant by the wounds the Cathedral Our Lady suffered yesterday. It is no accident that the Cross survived. God will not be stopped by anything or anyone! His Glory and Mercy shall never be silenced!

No way!! They posted this the day it was burned! This must have been filmed just before the fire sadly! How crazy is that! Let's pray for the best restoration of this beautiful Cathedral and for it to be a cause to unite Catholics throughout the world.

But why is it just a cross and not a crucifix? Surely Notre Dame would have a crucifix.
