Camille Rose signature line and coconut water line changed my hair experience. Worth every penny. They are that good. Coconut water style setter is the new creamy crack.

I just bought for BF and I bought during their Spring Sale last year!

I just started using Camille Rose and I love it! I did notice the shampoo seemed like it really clarified my hair, but I wouldn't call it trash, but ima see if she sells a more moisturizing shampoo. Great video 👍
I've only used their Curl Maker and it is still in my small rotation. I intended to try the Curl Love Moisture Milk, but the curl Maker worked well for me with a leave-in I already had.
I’m frugal so it took a minute for me try any of the higher priced natural products, But baaaaby, I found the curl maker on sale one day. It worked so well I used my afterpay account to stock up on various CR products. I’m hooked. I will still use TGIN honey curls custard but that’s the only other brand I’ve been using lately.
Yes glycerin free 🥰🥰🥰, the only thing I love from the Camille rose is their honey leave in. I know many naturals hate it but that’s my bae. I tried their moisture milk with the almond jai and idk my hair was dry as hell the next day. I will try the coconut water line and probably that moisture butter instead. I love the CRN coconut water line. I"m styling with the last of my leave in tomorrow 😥. I also need to use my stash before repurchasing. My hair hates the sweet ginger cleansing rinse. It makes my hair feel like straw.
SheRea DelSol----girrrrllll, items in the CR Coconut Water Hydration Line is EVERYTHING!!!! I use the Penetrating Hair Treatment as a DC and the Style Setter are AMAZING!!!! The moisture last 5+ days with my 2 strand twist out. Let's not forget THE CURL MAKER!!!!!
Camille Rose = 🔥🔥. I have sooo many staples from this brand. I just tried the lavender fresh cleanse today and it was so cleansing and moisturizing at the same time. Plus the foaming game is 💪🏾
I love Camille Rose products!! The shampoo ginger and the DC coconut treatment was the complete opposite for me. The CR shampoo is my most moisturizing shampoo and I did not care for the CR DC. It was not moisturizing enough. My favorites are the CR curl love moisture milk( I want to try the CR coconut leave-in you mentioned) and I love the CR style setter from the coconut line. It has enough hold.
This past week, I tried a few products from this line (almond jai twisting butter, honey leave-in, and the sweet ginger cleansing rinse). Didn't find the ginger rinse stripping but it also wasn't something I was jumping up and down about either, the other two products I loved. My major complaints would be that the vanilla smell coming from the twisting butter was a bit overpowering (not from the jar but in my hair). Also, my Day 1 hair felt greasy. That feeling dissipated by the time I got to Day 3 . Overall, I was happy with the products. Still need to try the Algae Renew Deep Conditioner, which I also purchased. My hair loves glycerin but hates shea butter, so my main reason for trying these products was unless I missed it, none of the ones I tried contained shea butter. I would definitely use these products, again.
Love, love, love that DC and leave-in. I used the curlaide this Winter and was Very impressed with the moisture. I tried the style setter and with the leave-in for my hair it was too much. I would use as a leave-in and combine with a heavy gel. CRN gives you 7 days of moisture.🔥 I love that brand.
Honestly CR products are a god send for me, I was really surprised about the butter as its quite thick so I thought it would leave a residue on my hair as im LP but it didn't and honestly a little goes a long way, I incorporated it into my LBO method (i don't usually use creams I prefer butters to help with sealing) it made my hair moisturised for like 4 days before I needed to remoisturise and my hair was so damn soft like omg thats saying something since I have coarse hair. The coconut water line didnt really do anything for me sadly, just sat there on my hair lol. I have the growth balm and its so damn good, I have the deep conditioner but have yet to use it.
I'm kind of shocked you didn't like the shampoo it's one of my favorites!! I don't have that leave in or deep conditioner but I have so many others I will wait to get those lol. Great review!

Great video! I only use glycerine free leave ins/stylers. Saved my hair. I hate that sweet ginger shampoo but I love the lavender shampoo. I love the coconut water DC, leave in and the almond jai
Dani I don’t find the Lavender Fresh Cleanse to be stripping at all. It has a little ACV in it and leaves my hair and scalp feeling so clean and fresh. It makes my curls pop and I can even do a light finger detangle with this shampoo.
@@wannabe41 agree, my hair is very soft after I use it. In fact I dont do a 2nd wash cause my hair gets too soft and I can also lightly finger detangle

Yeah I can’t use the powders/pastes either. I make teas out of them and incorporate them different ways: prepoo, with my deep conditioner, or just a final rinse.
That's weird. The ginger rinse never stripped my hair. Always feels moisturized. I actually use it right after I use a sulfate shampoo to add a some moisture back into my hair so I don't get that super stripped feeling. Maybe you got a bad batch? Or maybe they've changed the formula since you did this? I'm still on my first bottle so I'll look out for any stripped feeling. When I get a new bottle.
@@SheReaDelSol good to know! I've had it since summer and I love it! My one complaint is just that I wish it actually did something to leave my scalp feeling "enlivened." Overall, I still love the cleanser though. Thanks for replying and continue to stay safe!
I need to get some glycerin free products because it’s been raining during the week for a month and my hair needs some help. Also I tried that treatment last week and I’m mad I didn’t try it sooner. It’s amazing
I use alot of ayurvedic products and they use to leave all these little particles in my hair. What i learned is i can run hot water or strain whatever mixture i made with a stocking or cloth bag strainer and use only the liquid.
Camille rose shampoo is drying for me too. Its the olen sulfonate thats drying. I love there leave in honey and the camille rose coconut style setter. Im about to buy the mask from the coconut line.
Man I went to 3 stores trying to find that treatment with no luck. I found the other products but this line seems to be scarce in my area.I’m going to keep an eye out tho. Thank you so much for sharing!
The results are i used Camilla rose almond twisting butter and it was bombs the curls were defined on my braid out I will now definitely go and buy the shampoo and conditioner
Yeah Camille Rose products have mostly been a miss for me and my 4B/4C, fine, high porosity, medium density hair. I only have and use the Coconut Water Leave-in when I want to add to moisture before a blow dry with my Revair and to transition my blowout into a style because it has this nice protective coating feeling and slight hold. I think it’s because a lot of CR formulations tend to coat my hair and not penetrate my strands and having high porosity hair that is saying something. I prefer products that mostly penetrate with slight coating (and I prefer the styling product to have the slight coating and not any other product before).
Y'all got a sista giving that CR sweet ginger rinse the sideeye, it's in my stash unopened as we speak. I might use it when I need to clarify my hair(I had to do that with the Miche shampoo...moisture where?!😫) Anyway I digress, my favorite CM products are the Almond Jai twisting butter, Curl Love moisture milk, and the lavender shaken hair spritzer. I want to try that cocoa nibs oil so bad, and I need to get with program as far as the coconut water products too. Ok sis, where did you get that CR balm? I loves my hair grease, so I need an answer!😂 I use ayurvedic powders too, I find using a cowash helps with residue.
@@GodsgraceishIs your sweet ginger rinse the "old" formula? I noticed the one I have doesn't contain ginger, castor oil, or aniseed oil, which is the reason why I purchased this. I hate when companies change formulas.🤬
I tried to tell everyone about CRN LOL!! The original Ginger Rinse worked a lot better than this version. I still like it but I miss the old formula. Her Coconut Water line is amazing.. Loving your hair!!!!
@@SheReaDelSol I'm sorry!! I kill her spring sales every year going to the hair show since 2012 getting products. Favorites are Moisture Milk, Moisture Butter, Aloe Whipped Butter Gel, Clean Rinse, and yes that Balm is amazing!! She discontinued my favorite DCs from her but I need to learn to stop falling for seasonal products anyway lol...
I bought the camella rose twisting butter I have put it in my hair for tonight for my twist out it’s my first time using Camilla rose if this product work on my hair then I will purchase the shampoo and conditioner
I've liked using the Ginger Cleansing Rinse but when I purchased it again recently I noticed the majority of the ingredients have changed. You used this new version so I'm hoping I don't have the same awful experience as you. It was previously good and softening the hair and had a stronger ginger smell.
I wouldnt use the leave in and wet setter together bc they are both so moisturizing... the texture of the leave in reminds me of the shea moisture raw shea butter detangler
Honestly, it is so weird, I know that product ingredients can differ a lot when you actually get it but if you go to their website you see SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE and COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE in the ingredient list for the cleansing rinse. maybe that can explain why it is stripping
On the website in the ingredients list - it claims it’s a sulfate free cleanser after that ingredient name in parentheses . I don’t the mind cleanser . It doesn’t strip my hair . But my favorite product from them is the aloe whipped butter gel . My twist outs last total of 7-8 days with no retwisting - very moisturized, volume and definition. Day 5-7 my hair looks so good
Dani oh I know it’s a sulfate free cleanser but for this combination can be very stripping especially if I didn’t do a pre poo. That being said I love moisture milk and coconut water leave in treatment
The Sweet Ginger Cleanser rinse had my scalp on fire. I think I'm allergic to an ingredient or more. CR told me to try the Clean Rinse so ima try that.
My favorite Camielle Rose products are the Lavender Shaken Hair Spritzer Conditioning Hair Refresher (my hair absolutely loves this stuff, I spritz, shake and go) and the Curl Love Leave In a staple. I didn’t like that Ginger Rinse either.

i literally gasped when you said you didn't like the shampoo, i detangle with it!
Sorry lol
Formula changed!
Not a fan of glycerin or coconut oil so I stick with kinky curly 😊
I grew to not like KC
What products do you like?

The Shampoo is not drying on my hair so try it and see.
@@GodsgraceishIs your sweet ginger rinse the "old" formula? I noticed the one I have doesn't contain ginger, castor oil, or aniseed oil, which is the reason why I purchased this. I hate when companies change formulas.🤬
Your hair is beautiful!
Thanks lovely
I know this particular shampoo is not for you but do you still use a clarifying shampoo and if you do how often do you do.
I use suave clarifying shampoo like every 2 months or so
I love the Camille rose moisture milk
I bought it to try again
I just brought that product again. I paired it with the curls curls gelly for a wash in go 💣
Great video girl. I just started using the almond jar again and still love it.. Differently wanna try the water line. Lo
It’s fire
@@SheReaDelSol I heard lol
I tried to tell everyone about CRN LOL!! The original Ginger Rinse worked a lot better than this version. I still like it but I miss the old formula. Her Coconut Water line is amazing.. Loving your hair!!!!
You ain’t told me lol
@@SheReaDelSol I'm sorry!! I kill her spring sales every year going to the hair show since 2012 getting products. Favorites are Moisture Milk, Moisture Butter, Aloe Whipped Butter Gel, Clean Rinse, and yes that Balm is amazing!! She discontinued my favorite DCs from her but I need to learn to stop falling for seasonal products anyway lol...
@@tenekqua1 is her spring sale online too? I was thinking about buying some products
@@brina2254 as of 2 years ago I believe, she has her spring sale the same weekend as the WNHS weekend ...
I bought the camella rose twisting butter I have put it in my hair for tonight for my twist out it’s my first time using Camilla rose if this product work on my hair then I will purchase the shampoo and conditioner
Hope you like it!
I also LOVE the Suave Clarifying Shampoo too. 🤣❤️
It’s bomb
Now using the Ginger cleanser as my shaving gel. 😁
Makes sense!
Thank you for this review, I a few of their products and haven’t tried them yet
You are very welcome
I've liked using the Ginger Cleansing Rinse but when I purchased it again recently I noticed the majority of the ingredients have changed. You used this new version so I'm hoping I don't have the same awful experience as you. It was previously good and softening the hair and had a stronger ginger smell.
Oh wow!
Maybe u ordered a fake batch
Does it leave a residue feeling on your hands after it dries?
Only if you use a lot
Is your hair low porosity?
Here we go again SheRea!!! Got me spending these coins!!!!
😩😩😩
Camilla rose is very expensive in Canada twisting butter is 25 plus tax it was worth it because I got the best results with my braid out loving it
Can you do a tour of your island?
Ok!!
Girl Camille rose products are bomb.com.They are a little pricey but good...🤣🤣🤣 your usually very blunt and picky with products but truthful lol
LOL, yes!
I wouldnt use the leave in and wet setter together bc they are both so moisturizing... the texture of the leave in reminds me of the shea moisture raw shea butter detangler
I don’t think the textures are textures are the same at all
Honestly, it is so weird, I know that product ingredients can differ a lot when you actually get it but if you go to their website you see SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE and COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE in the ingredient list for the cleansing rinse. maybe that can explain why it is stripping
Wow makes sense
I’m going to try one more of their cleansers and I’m done.
My favorite Camielle Rose products are the Lavender Shaken Hair Spritzer Conditioning Hair Refresher (my hair absolutely loves this stuff, I spritz, shake and go) and the Curl Love Leave In a staple. I didn’t like that Ginger Rinse either.
The spritz is a staple for me too
