One of my favorite things about Laura Jane Grace is the way she truly shows people her authentic self. As a trans woman, I feel so pressured to alter my voice and learn to speak at a higher register than I naturally do. When I hear Laura speak, it lets me know that no matter what, I am who I am and I shouldn't be ashamed of it. She gives me the courage to be authentically myself and to be proud of myself no matter what.
I love my voice I was born with. It clocks me as a former guy. Well, why do I have to change for everyone to believe I am female when I am female. Be yourself and live your life on your terms.
When Tom came out and became Laura Jane...I was completely cool with her being trans, but my only concern was that her voice would change. Because I absolutely love her voice. I'm so glad it hasn't. As beautiful and brilliant as ever.
Thank you for sharing her incredibleness, I can't wait to see her next time she's in canada. I saw her and the band in 2010 (I think) and 2015 it was life changing seeing her difference of confidence on stage. 🖤💚🖤💚🖤
do you have foootage of the whole thing? so sad when it cuts out. Grateful this exists and thankful for your filming and posting but oh, I wanna see more. Thank You tho, so not trying to be ungrateful. just love laura and her music
Jillian D they were not very good footage and I was trying to keep the video to about 20 min. And 2 caskets I was actually changing a lens in my camera. I'm kinda pissed I missed that whole song
Oh, it was amazing to hear Laura about her book. I had the opportunity to meet and interview her a few years ago, and I just couldn't stop crying afterwards because she's a huge inspiration for me and AM is my fave band. Thanks for uploading tho! :)
ya if it wasn't for 3 people in particular i wouldn't be alive today, laura cause i heard about her transition on the radio one day and that got me researching, Isley Reust (who happens to be a very good friend of mine now) cause her transition video was one of the first that i had seen that i also happened to really connect with and last Sona Avedian cause honestly she showed me that a big greasy hairy guy like myself could do this and have the ability to "pass" something that i think all of us want in the begining till you realize how happy you are becoming and that becomes a very small part of it in the end
I just can't even handle it when she smiles. I just can't even. It's the best thing ever.

Very well edited.
Aaron Salmon thanks a lot I always think I do a terrible job at this for some reason. I'm still fairly new at all this
What's with not playing the whole songs?

oh thats too bad. :( I love Laura, wish I could have been there.
i don't know if it's the recording or if she had a cold or something, but laura's speaking voice sounds so different in this video.
she did mention something about her throat being messed a bit in the beginning
an absolute cutie
Ache with me is a beautiful song tho...

Not hearing the crowd yell "god dammit" during Dead Friend kinda sucked. Otherwise, quality stuff!
Were you aiming for the worst edit in history?
CJ JACKSON no just 2nd worst. I should have done more star wipes. Ugh I failed as a human being.
