The last large balance update saw nerfs across all cleanse support classes, which has made Condi builds a lot more viable.

Wouldn't it be better to change rune of tormenting to rune of the trapper (condi dur) and viper gear to cele ? (build doesn't come cheap xD )
You're welcome to go full Cele for more survival. It's also easier to transition to Cele Support Scourge or Cele Reaper. Big source of dmg is Torment though so it is better than Trapper.
@@Taygeta I got it, thanks a lot for the advice.
@@Taygeta But extra torment bonus is only for duration which is good in pve, but i'm not sure if it's helpful in WvW where it gets cleansed ocassionally. I know this build relies on condi overload, but conditions most likely still gets cleansed way before the full duration ends (or enemy dies before it ends).
It worked that nice only once for me in WvW

Looking to start playing WvW on a Necro (new player here) so i’d like to pick your brain :). I’d like to focus on a specialisation that allows me to test multiple roles/playstyle with relatively similar gear while I find what I like best. Thinking of going with cele so i can do Scourge in zergs and Harbs in roam - does that sound good in your opinion? Should the Scourge be support or condi?
You can do Cele support scourge in zerg. It runs different traits than this vid though. I have a support scourge vid on the channel

Isnt Potent Master Tuning Crystals or something like this better?

It requires the while comp to run multiple condi builds. Cele FB etc. lots of guilds are running condi mix since the cleaning nerfs, and finding success. It won't work as well by itself though if you don't run with a consistent group.
