Q26 sir.. New NCERT Class 9: Democratic Politics: Chapter 6 Page 109 …For example the right to property is not a Fundamental Right but it is a constitutional right. Right to vote in elections is an important constitutional right. New NCERT,Std. 11, Introduction to Indian Constitution Chapter 3: Election and Representation, Page 66 and 67 Page 66: one of the important decisions of the framers of India Constitution was to guarantee every adult citizen in India, the right to vote. [Article 326] Page 67: what is true of the right to vote, is also true of right to contest election. All citizens have the right to stand for election and become the representative of the people. So option “C” is most fitting. Because of the above statements from NCERT class 9 and 11.
Sir, Ques No- 3 (TIme 27:40) According to UPSC Answer Key right answer is (D) 2 & 3.And according to your explanation right answer is (c) 1 & 2. Pls Sir explain it....!!!
Sir I have done your T20 of last 8months..but I am not able to revise .. cause prelims is on the head.what should i do ? Thanku for the whole series sir ..you are a gem🌸
I believe, the UPSC would have marked it 1 as wrong because a declaratory document does not entail a monitoring process but again, that is very far fetched.
The UPSC has taken the view that monitoring per se can't be done through a document which is fair and marked the first option as incorrect. Will release clarifications and takeaways from the recent answer keys immediately.
Doubt: in Q34- i had reached the 50-50 stage between dpsp and fd; after that- according to what I’ve learned from 2 years of Magna carta-is whatever is authoritative, large scale, humongous is dpsp and to be done by the state and whatever is softer, personal, internal, individualistic-is fd and undertaken by the citizen. But to find that the answer is option d-just overturns my concept. I mean, isn’t upholding the unity and sovereignty of a nation too huge for a citizen? ‘To cherish’ would have worked, but upholding-seems too much. Please resolve this entanglement. Thankyou!
Sir DPSP are not justiciable i.e. enforceable by court of law, but they are enforceable by law right? The Govt can make law solely on them. Similarly for the Fundamental Duties?
as per you question 3 cse 2021 , "right to city" question you gave answer as "c" option but upsc key says answer "d" option ?????????????????????????????????????????????????
Sir in the UN HABITAT question in the official answer key the ans given is (d) that is 2 n 3 only. Even I marked what u are telling.. Sir please let us know why is this discrepancy
Hello sir in our what a test series question regarding national income.. in solutions national income represents of NNP at factor cost given. Sir please confirm us whether it is NNP at factor cost or market price And another one postal ballet system applicable only to service employees given but many websites showing super senior citizens and employees on essential duties also included.. too much confusion so please clarify once sir
1. National Income is NNP at factor cost. It should not be at market price can also be infered from the fact that the difference between market price an factor cost is essentially taxes, which does not contribute to income, except for the government. Another corollary could be that If I get 80,000 and then government takes back 30,000 as tax, my net income would be 50,000 -> Factor cost. 2. Postal Ballot facility is made available to a number of different sections of citizens by the Election Commission of India particularly, service personnel(think armed forces officials who are frequently transfered), recently journalists have been brought into the fold, those under preventive detention, senior citizens, and those engaged in essential services also.
sir. I have a doubt in question 18 (01:07:09) absence of restriction = negative liberty opportunity to develop oneself fully = positive liberty then option B would also be correct.
Q 26 : Right to vote and to be elected is a constitutional right as per UPSC official key.
Most probably they've followed NCERT Class 11th - What is true of the right to vote is also true of the right to contest elections.
Cse 21 question - 3 option D is correct according to UPSC Key
Right to the city
Option D is correct
right to habitat question option D = illegal encroachments can get legal aids from state.
