I love my surron, but talaria is absolutely killing the game right now
It would be cool to see a durability test of the xxx since your the only one that rides hard on TH-cam lol I wana see if the suspension actually sucks
Suspensions fine unless you are petty it doesn’t really make a difference, I do have an upgraded fastace shock tho. Forks are weak as shit and bottom out everywhere but you can get over it. I’m kinda whipping 15-20 foot jumps and it’s just fine
@@RocketTooth is it like 65 suspension at least? I’ve only ridden gas bikes and I’m just not sure how these compare. They seem weak
@@metalofthedeath not even close 65 suspension is way better than even a stock mx4 suspension setup let alone xxx suspension. All of these bikes come stock with under sprung mountain bike suspension even if it is advertised as “heavy duty”
The stock xxx has super small suspension components, hence its low cost price tag, with the sur Ron having more money from the factory in suspension.
man its always something with that bike i wanna see you ride it and not have a issue
thanks for this vid. Needed to know which was better out the box.
damn im hella tryna get a talaria. nice video bro keep it up. subbed
wow, just the vid i needed, I am looking to buy a surron or a talaria, this helped me alot.
talaria all the way. they just reduced the price to 4200 with free shipping on luna. Luna also stopped selling surrons so you'd have to buy one used somewhere for probably more $ than a fresh talaria
@@jettedson8410 agreed I’d definitely go talaria but Luna also has the mx3 available for $3400 which might not be quiet as good as the MX4 but for 3400 is a steel
I can only speak for a Talaria since I owned one. If you can ride 50% as good as Tallon then you'll probably have fun on a Talaria, if you're using it for commuting then it is way overkill and a waste of money, not to mention possible trouble with law enforcement. If you don't have experience riding motorcycles (because you don't need a license to ride it...yet) it's probably a good idea to take some riding lessons and wear proper safety gear which will add to the cost.
What would you suggest for commuting? I was considering an entry level talaria, the 3k one for commuting 40 miles a day.
Saving up for a talaria. Should take like a year. I cant wait!
Should i go for talaria mx4 or a surrom ultra bee. I want mainly for commuting and Adventures also offroad. Range is important but also low profiles is important. The talaria is low profile but the ultra bee has better power and better battery but i dont like the white and its maybe to big.
How do you like those Formula brakes on the modded Surron? Considering picking some up.
You picked a hell of a day to do a talaria vs Surron comparison, can't really hear you too good It sounds like you're in a wind tunnel😮
how fast does the modded surron go?
Where are u from Im in northern VA and it’s been super windy the past 2 days
Wow what talaria do you have? My talaria is only 8kw how is yours 8000kw?
I’m just getting into e-bikes so I’m out of the loop. Why is everyone talking about these getting harder to find and becoming more expensive? Are these companies not manufacturing anymore? Or not expanding their manufacturing process to meet demand?
I live in Ontario Canada. I was looking into the talaria for casual riding on a couple trails and maybe commuting to work. Which for me is about a 10 minute drive by car. But I’m wondering what I need to make it road legal? I have my full G license and I’m not sure if I need mirrors or signal lights.. I’m assuming so? Also I weigh like 240 and I’m 6’3 so I don’t know what kind of options I have for suspension?
I'm 6'1" 240 and have no issues with stock suspension. Just make sure you put 120 psi in the front and 100 psi or so in the back. Set the knows how you like em and good to go.
When you do stoppies, how hard are you gripping the brake?
Not too hard! It’s all about getting into the stoppie. I’ve got a video on how to stoppie on my channel
where did you get your battery graphics at
do the first surron and the talaria come with stock suspension and tyres/wheels?
Love this one
Looks like youve been riding Motocross bikes before! YZ's, CR's, KX's, RZ's and EXC's?
Mainly bmx and mountain bikes but I just recently had a crf250 and now I’ve got a ktm250
get a 219 chain for SR to replace the belt. Keep it lubed and you'll be stoked
You would like the Eride Pro SS. It’s light, and fast 72v 40ah out the box. I liked my Talaria Mx4 but sold it after I got the Eride Pro SS
bullshit, why would you buy an entire new bike when you have a much better platform to build on, the only thing better on the E-ride is the battery.
@@twall4381 Hey look everybody the forth Talaria Boy trolled another post. You need to save up some money an buy all these bikes like I did and see why the Eride is better all the way around. Like I told you before troll you clearly have no clue..
@@fiscustom5893 no you clearly have no idea, I work in a shop that sells and works on Erides, Surrons and Talarias. The Eride pro is worse all around besides just the battery. Cheaper frame, the same shitty shock and forks as the surron, lower max output motor, belt reduction instead of a gearbox, bad overheating issues reported by multiple of our customers, we have already had one person snap an eride pro seat frame from just sitting on it while going uphill. They clearly cut a lot of corners just to deliver a 72v battery out of the box.
8000 Kw OMG Is that thing a electric bomb or what (I know what you mean tho)
That's peak power, it can't sustain that. It also wants to pull your arms out of your shoulder sockets, and wheelie from a red light.
You should do a surron comparison on a controller and stock battery then a controller with 72v battery we would all watch it
At those prices, what's the point...Price of and XR650 with large tank. 300 plus miles with a gal of spare gas like 400 M...who the F would spend that kind of money to be that limited ...
Good luck riding around the back yard in an hoa neighborhood on a 650
My boy looks like a 30 year old man with 3 kids and sounds like a 14 year old🤣
Idk the price for the Sur-Ron's brakes is terrible, terrible shocks....it's a terrible deal for 5k!
I think you mean 8 kilowatts not 8000 kilowatts. For reference my EV is 91 kilowatts.
Right out of the box go with Eride Pro SS
@@tallonpemberton
The Pro SS is more suited for guys 5' 7" to 5' 9"
The Talaria Sting suited for guys 5' 9" to 6'0"
It’s 8kW and 6kW if it was 8000kW and 6000kW it would fly to the moon 😂
It’s not 6000KW and 8000KW a kilowatt is 1000 watts so it’s 6kw and 8kw
Two finger braking js the biggest ick
Get an arctic leopard EX 800. 😂
8,000 kw is 1,072 HP 😂 it's 8kw or 8,000w 10hp
Talaria sting R is a beast and super reliable.
Can you please buy me a surron
Surrons better and faster and got better parts.
"Saurrons are better and faster" after you spend another $5k-$9k upgrading it lmao
Perfect start to a birthday morning: Cup of coffee and a new Tallon video
Ayyee happy belated birthday 🎉
Lesgooo!! Happy late birthday hahah
