Yeah, it's one of my favorites and there's a 2 channel version that sounds even better. I like them so much that I had to buy a real rectifier. :) It's amazing how accurate the sims are; I can use a mic'd recording panned to one side and an amp sim on the other and they sound almost exactly the same. In the mix it's virtually impossible to tell the difference.
I have an old 2 Channel Dual Rectifier as well. The sim is damn close. It is all about dialing in the right tone and you definitely nailed it \m/ I dig the Thermionik Serpent from Kazrog too, I'll be posting a vid on that soon ..
Great, thanks for the shootout! Do you have something like this using the 3 Sigma IRs? I believe they tend to sound more like Rose than Kalthallen, right?
The drums are insane
Guaranteed ocd for years to come. Nice video!
That Thermionik Dual Rectifier is most excellent \m/ Great vid \m/

You can also adjust the input (Option Tab) in Thermionik which makes a lot of difference in how the amp sounds
Where did you get this great sounding drum track?

Never heard of noise in impulse responses. Could you elaborate?

You should try Ignite Amps TSB-1 and TSB-99 VST pedals. Really kick-ass high output.
