  • You will learn how to use Formspark and Botpoison to handle form submissions in Webflow. Formspark has better spam protection than what Webflow offers, and is regarded to be better for GDPR compliance.

    Great insights Mike, thank you! A couple of questions here.
    1. If the form is configured as a component, I assume I don't need to repeat the process in every page. Correct?
    2. In the case of single email opt-ins (for example for users to subscribe to our company newsletter). Would you advise to use the same method (formspark+botpoison)? In that case, should I create a separate form for the single opt-in?
    Thanks again.

    This worked perfect for me the other day, now trying to setup and its throwing an error when anyone tries to complete the form? Any suggestions would be great, thanks Mike!

      What error do you get?

  • @dpg1988

    Thanks dude for your thorough walk-through, super helpful. One thing though, it interferes with the redirect I had setup for the button - previously, submitting the form captured the users' email, notified me, and then redirected that user onto another page.
    With this FormsSpark integration, it causes the submission only to show the "success" state. Is there a way to change this?

    • @mikepecha
      @mikepecha  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, in the Formspark code just manually redirect with Javascript when the submission was successful.

    Great tutorial! Do you know if it's possible with Formspark to send an auto-response mail to the user who submitted the form? Or would I have to use a service like Make for this?

    Hi, great video! Seems that setting the form action to post disables the redirect URL function. Do you know how to fix?

    • @mikepecha
      @mikepecha  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, the Formspark code disables the standard Webflow form submission.

    Great video….how do you deal with the 3-4 second delay?

    • @mikepecha
      @mikepecha  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Jesse. You could write a few lines of JavaScript to fix it.

    Thanks Mike. Great video. Do you know if it’s possible to configure FormSpark to send an acknowledgement email to the person who completed it? Thanks

    • @mikepecha
      @mikepecha  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks @conafam! No, I don't think that is possible at the moment. However you could use Formspark's Zapier integration, or Webhook feature to set up an automation for this.

    Great video. Can this help block users from using a personal email address?

    • @mikepecha
      @mikepecha  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi hcf797, no as far as I know blocking users from using a personal email address is not possible.

  • @conafam

    Quick question on this. My form is throughout my site as a Webflow component. Rather than pasting this code on every single page, can I just add to customer code in site settings? Thanks

    • @mikepecha
      @mikepecha  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, will work 👍
