In the beginning stages of trimming. I almost saw an owl. Probably due to the ears. (Long eared owls) . I'll be trying to make an owl, based roughly off the steps for this cutie. Thanks Pom Maker!! I have all your makers. The bow is my fave. Probably because I love ridiculously huge poms.

Seems easy enough to cut the black of the eye away from the top and bottom leaving only a horizontal line of black for the eye leftover. You'd have to be more careful however since each eye lid line would need to line up with each other on both sides of the face.

Yes, but it's probably better to use a thinner yarn because there's quite a lot of layers to wrap.
