It's incredible when you concentrate on the longevity a band may have, and undoubtedly these guys have been being around the musical overview for more than a decade which is the irrefutable mark of what a consisting band can arouse and how emotional an album could sound most times! Truthfully they're still underrated, their music is not popular but I guess they feel rewarded by this behaviour, mainly because it points out that you're different and you don't rely on charts and things like that, it means that you write because you love writing. Jotting down lyrics can come esay when you feel a certain inspiration, when you don't pretend being perfect and roundly whenever you don't show up with haughtiness. To be clear someone gets presumptuous after hitting a particular ranking but this belongs to your temperament, the artists who don't show off any hidden quality are often well received by the audience because you can spot the best melodies and the greatest emotions in their tunes. Furthermore this band never attempted stumbling across mainstream, these guys just keep chasing their own path with no bias and no hitch, they focus on chorus and they let synths lead a soft yet pounding ballad (as Tokyo) or establish an addictive sad scenario where thoughts huddle into your mind (1996).
