I just bought this and I loved it. It kept my hair soft. I hate it when things feel greasy or crunchy and this didn't feel like that at all and honestly it made my hair look so good even on the next day.
I just received the strictly curls mouse, as a birthday gift. Excellent! It's not oily, sticky, and it doesn't leave my hair with a crunchy feel. Also, oily hair care products that I used in the past leave my hair flat, and oily.

I am Chinese with cold perm done in March 2021 and I do like this hold. Still curly on the 2nd day. Suggest to put lesser than you think u need. I live in humid Singapore.
I use the shampoo and conditioner and than wet brush my hair with the conditioner in the shower and than I squeeze a lot of the water out of my hair after the shower, I use a quarter size amount of this and apply it from ends to roots and I SCRUNCH my hair religiously while it air dries for about an hour flipping it all over scrunching all over and they are bouncy and soft and light weight and not crusty or hard at all and they actually turn out exactly like the picture on the box, it just depends what methods you use to apply the product, hope my review comment helps others! :)
Your mistake is using a brush on curly hair. It will always come out stringy that way. Wash condition and detangle in the shower only. Never brush curly hair outside the shower

I feel like if you had used less product and focused it on the ends and then only diffused the roots it would have turned out nicer. It looks like it weighed down the hair and I think when you scrunch with the diffuser that it actually deforms the curls. I love this product line though, I know your hair was feeling soft! I can’t figure it out but I know “styling” mousse is different from regular and you can’t use it the same. I’m doing something wrong because it’s supposed to have a different result but my hair always comes out sticky and gross when I use this product😩

Honestly i used it myself...discovered by accident... And i kind of cringed worth how much you put in... To put it bluntly the first squirt in your hand is what I use all over my hair and my hair is pretty similar to yours.
You make me laugh. I love your face expression. I use this product on my baby girl. The way it is done would make a difference. I l detangle her hair prior to washing and then when in shower I washed her hair and when soaking wet (still in the shower) I put the product in her hair by shingle method and then I diffuse cool at roots after putting curl custard and oil and her curls looks fantastic. If you want try again, try a different way.
