ME IMPRESSIONA E ME FASCINA, CONTEMPLAR ESTA "MARAVILHA" SOBRE RODAS ! ENTRE OS CARROS GLAMOUROSOS DESSA ÉPOCA, ESTE É O MAIS ESPLENDOROSO, PELOS DETALHES EXCEPCIONAIS DE LUXO QUE POSSUI, E POR ISSO MESMO É O MAIS DESEJADO ! ADORARIA TER UM DESSES NA MINHA GARAGEM ! PARABÉNS PELA POSTAGEM E PELO BOM GOSTO ! (Jorge Mota = São Paulo = Brasil))
So...IS IT FOR SALE ? (only joking.) Yes What a dream boat she is. I have never ridden in one of these before (is it possibly quieter than a '64 De Ville ? The clock ticking away was louder than the engine !) I LOVE that Red paint too. De-lish.
Flat-Top ist the best body style in '59 and '60, imho! Everybody wants the convertible, the Coupe de Ville or at least the six-window sedan. I go with the odd-ball!
I understand that at least in-house at GM these roofs were known as the wafer roof. I hate the screwy things that have been done to this particular car.
The "Flattop" Caddys are my favorites...
Beautiful red Caddy. I prefer the Flat top when it comes to 4 door 59s. I think the flow and shape look better.
Luxurious classic flat top

Thank You for your generous remarks. YES, 1959 Cadillac is the best example of the BIG American Car!

I like the flattop. All of the 1959-60 GM flat hardtops looked awesome! To see one with an original type red interior is a visual delight!
Is that an after-market A/C?
yes, an old one
I was the primary driver of my dad's '59! My piece of s**t brother in law 'sold' it when it was lent to him!
Owner wanted it a bit more throaty than what you hear. All a matter of what the owner likes I suppose.

PERSONALLY, I DON'T LIKE
