Other than being naughty or suspicious, it could also be humorous, not meant to be taken seriously.
Communism doesn't equate to terrorism. You have the rights to declare and support whatever ideology and at the same time, never incite any harm or violence to other people. You can be an advocate for Marxist, Socialist, Communist ideals but that doesn't automatically mean you're a member of the New People's Army.
