The 2 brothers reconciled their life-long conflicts according to Wu Tong's wish. Both of them felt shameful at her sacrifice and honored her request of peace. This needed courage to achieve.
Or, the writers are simply reaffirming the value of men over Women, that women should sacrifice, tolerate, allow themselves to be degraded and humiliated so in the end they get the most important thing; the love of the man that degraded and humiliated them. Disgusting!
I was very happy 😊 that she left the asshole 🫤 but I was sad 😞 for her son. 🤫 in this drama 🎭 I would have become richer than him and take my son back 😉 and leave this family high to dry. 🥴
LeeZM asked for divorce. But he still wore the wedding ring in his necklace when he was released from jail. He still devoted to his marriage before Wu Tong's betrayal was cleared. He loved Wu Tong so he saved her from imprisonment. He hated her betrayal so he scolded her severely especially in the hospital where XiangJun received treatment. He gave up his marriage and cut all ties with her. Such detach was very hard for Wu Tong to bear. She decided to be alone peacefully. Her ex-husband was of an complicated character which was difficult to cope with. When all mistakes were cleared, LeeZM should be the one to hate himself.
What is the use of him saving her from prison,I wouldn't want him to take any blame for me,I couldn't live with myself knowing that I was the one who did it to xaing jun,then his stupid assistant pulling her back and forth while she is pregnant,he treat her so badly then turn around and stand up for her, while he still doesn't want to have anything to do with her that make no send,you tell me now he goes and do something like that going behind bar who is going to take care of his son his mother cause Wu tong certainly can't cause they all drove her away is mother is very abusive you think she is going to handle her grandson with kit glove I don't think so zhongmou don't think before him do thing,they all are stupid people,if it was me I go tell the police that I was the one behind the wheel and zhangmou is lying please don't go taking any blame for me his mother will take it out on my child for making her son end up in prison for that woman as she love to call her not Wu Tong it is always that woman,from what I can see they are all a disgusting bunch of family with no love and no morals.

After all he is the bloodline of Big Xiang. Wu tong is just a poor woman whom they bought to bear and raise the children in the name of love and loyalty. Lee zhongmou himself was dating and sleeping with a pretty film star but prevents Wu tong to be friend with Xiang Jun... Because she is the mother of his son. Is this all she is ?? The mother of a child !!! Nothing else !!!!!
I agree 👍 💯 this is all about money 💰 and power. They both (Xiang Jun & Lee Zhongmou) tried to control Wutong in their own way. She sacrificed everything for them and in the end they both hurt and disappointed her. Even though her last act was to bring these brothers together, asking one brother to help the other, she still was putting their needs ahead of her own.

Look at how his brother confess the truth to him,and zhangmou became soft after hearing him, in real life if he had told any man that he probably would have gotten a punch in the face,but poor innocent Wu Tong wasn't the same for her ,at one point he almost hit her for nothing and I am not talking about the car alone he almost hit her with his fist,but his slimes brother got off without a scrat,is true what he said that men must always be successful and women are a burden,those words really stay with me I just can't let it go,what a wicked world we live in mostly against women.
Alas that's the way of the world. Double standards. If I was Wu Tong LZ could beg until the cow comes home, I would not re-unite with him. He is selfish and cruel.

So he basically to some degree trusted Xiang Jun enough to listen to him and negated what Wutong had to say. Lee Zhongmou needed to learn how to really trust Wutong. I can only guess in the moment the pictures were produced he could not think of Wutong's love for him over the 5 years or the fact that Xiang Jun once told Zhongmou after Court that he would take everything from LZM that he cherished and held so dear.
