After uploading the video, I realized the rule have been changed for eligibility for salaried individual for Golden Visa. The new rule says that basic salary should be 30K AED instead of gross which increases the benchmark hugely.
Also there is mandatory requirement now of equivalency certificate against your degree from Ministry of Education. This may take a few weeks to complete the equivalency application process.

submission of a letter from Federal Tax Authority stating that the investor pays the government no less than AED 250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand) annually.
Does one have to pay 250k dirhams every year/annually till your golden visa expires despite giving 2m upfront for golden visa?
And what happens to the property you have invested in with 2m after your golden visa expires? You again have to buy another 2m worth of property?

@harismuzaffar1151 based on uae residency, yes, but Albania so far is the only destination that offers visa on arrival to uae golden visa holder , as far as i know

Almost 4.5 crores of Indian rupees investment required for golden visa. We can easily do a lot better business wise in our countries with that much of amount

I am a doctor and having golden visa in 2021, including my family. One of my child was over 18 , i didn't get golden visa for him. I hered that the rules have been changed. Can i apply golden visa for him now?
I believe yes - the golden visa can be applied for any child who is less than 25 years of age and unmarried.

Other advantage of having a Golden Visa is how easy it is to get a driving license in UAE. Golden Visa holders have directly attempt the final RTA test once the theory test is done. Even if you fail the final RTA road test, You can reattempt the test after taking a 4 hr (mandatory) driving class. This mean, You can skip the parking, yard tests.
If you have a golden visa there is a high probability you already have a DL.
Not really for anyone who is coming in new to Dubai. I came in waited for the Golden visa and then got the DL
Why do a Normal person need to Buy a GOLDEN VISA for AED 5000 when your Company gives you free of cost Visa for 3 years ?

One more thing. Property investment GV takes into consideration the "property value" as it would have increased by the time you get a valuation from DLD. So its not your investment value.

yes, however, the rule has been amended to have 30K as basic salary.

I have a question. Even if I have a golden visa, if I want to change jobs, I still need a work permit? My understanding was that with a golden visa, I could switch jobs without going to the authorities for a work permit.

Might be the video is recorded earlier and posted now. Before salary should be 30k regardless of basic salary now the basic salary should be 30k.

You need to travel once in a year even though you have a golden visa rather than traveling once in 6 months in the normal visa. Just adding an info.

BTW for 30k salary, they require 30k basic salary, usually the salary is broken down in allowances and that's not accepted you have to have basic 30k.

I got my golden visa yesterday with a total salary of 31 ,000 dhirams including allowance and perquisites. There is no restriction.

It is not 30k anymore. Basic salary has to be 30k or more.
One of my friend bought property of Dhs. 1.90 M 1 years back BUT now its market price is over 2 M, can he apply for Golden Visa.
I think they have to get an evaluation certificate from DLD to assess the current price and based on that they can get the golden visa.

Esaad card is good but its not being offered as part of GV any more I heard.

Yes, for social media influencer, if you are able to get the GV approval, you only have to pay for the fee associated with GV and not the 2M AED requirement.

1 - No restrictions.
2 - Insurance is a tricky subject. Will try to cover in future. But 60+ would have expensive insurance for sure with many exclusions.

Although it is possible to get Golden visa by investing 2M AEd via Crowed Funded Real Estate, the drawback is one cant borrow to invest ( like conventional Mortgage) , must have the 2M AEd in hand, the advantage is you can diversify ..

The new rules state that 30k should be your basic salary now. This makes Golden Visa inaccessible to a lot many people now

Amer center is not offering services for Golden Visa property investors, Property value should not be less than 2 Million even if it is a off plan property and and you have paid a very minimum amount as a down payment then you are still eligible for Golden Visa
For property - you need to get certificate from DLD for all the properties as compiled document (I’m not sure of the value of offplan paid up value however)
