    Bought a brand new one yesterday. Heavy breather, woods cams, and vance and hines short shots. I pick it up next week. Can't wait.

    Great review! I own a 2018 Breakout and dont understand why people cant turn it or put into a corner without complaining. It handles awesome.

      Greg chavez thanks Sir! Glad you liked it! Yeah I guess people think every bike should turn in like a sportbike. I didn’t have any issues with how it turned in at all.

      Exactly; Im 48, new rider, 6.3, extended the forward controls a bit, handles perfectly; turns are easy, I practiced it though to get the feeling of it; slow sharp turns, I find it easier to do with engaged core muscles to get the perfect balance

    I just bought a 2020 breakout 114. First time I ever rode a bike and I found it pretty comfortable. Except for not finding the neutral and shifter too close to the peg, it's awesome and I love it

    • @WoodyRides
      @WoodyRides  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can adjust the shifter. It might help. Also when rolling to a stop try to tap it up into neutral and it will go easier. Ducati’s are the same way.

      @@WoodyRides ok so I can fix the shifter!? Awesome 👍 I wear size 13 and it sucks shifting gears

      Yes, I figured out the neutral part already. It took a few rides to get it but my concern was if my transmission had a defect or not

    • @WoodyRides
      @WoodyRides  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pedro Magallanes no your transmission is fine. Every M8 I’ve rode was hard to get in neutral. Once they break in they get easier.

    I love the Breakout! Probably my favorite Harley to date still...haven't been on the 114 yet. I would definitely consider buying one if I had the cash.

    • @WoodyRides
      @WoodyRides  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I love it to. Always have. I’ve rode the 107 and 114 now. The 114 is worth the price difference.

      @@WoodyRides Thank you sir.
      PS. I actually went to the dealer to buy my girl riding gloves she wanted. She rides a fat boy. I walked all the way through the showroom, purchased the gloves, walked all the way back through the showroom, almost made it to the exit when out of the corner of my eye shines this 'Performance Orange' bad ass bike. I stopped and looked to see what it was. The rest is history.
      My first Harley and I'm stoked to be a part of the excitement. I always wanted a Harley but was waiting for the right one. This is it. Thanks again.

    I found that getting into neutral is very easy on mid control bikes like the Low Rider, and much harder on forward control / footboard bikes for some reason.

    • @WoodyRides
      @WoodyRides  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Richard Braun if you rule it into neutral when slowing to a stop it falls right in. Ducati’s have the same issue.

    Love the fact that your riding the Softails. I’d ask you to ride the Deluxe but you don’t like chrome. I’ve got a 18 deluxe that is my dream bike. Loved the video. Think you’d best with the Fatboy cause it’s bad ass.

    Was really split between the Breakout and fatboy when choosing a 2020 recently, just felt the Fatboy has a bit more presence, which of course is intended, but what really did it was the tiny tank on the BO, they should have kept it as it was in 2017 for me....

    • @WoodyRides
      @WoodyRides  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      22Royston agreed. I don’t understand why they keep shrinking these tanks.

    On the new ones, the gas tank is bland, and too small, gone is that beautiful console!😢The older ones 2017 and back have a better and fatter profile. Just my humble opinion.
