- Hi Shan-anigans!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day or night! This video takes place where we left off in our SCP videos. After vising 131-A and 131-B, they have come with Dr. Smith to examine SCP-173 (you)!
In this video, Dr. Smith will be examining you SCP-173, and trying to obtain a sample while SCP-131-A and SCP-131-B maintain constant eye contact with you. Will they get out safely?

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This is just a fancy name for a tingly or calming sensation caused by different sounds/visuals that we call "triggers". Most people have their favorite type of "triggers" that help cause the sensation. Whether it be visual like lights moving, hand gestures etc. or sounds such as whispering, soft speaking, tongue clicking and more. ASMR typically will cause a tingly sensation in people that starts at the head and moves down the neck and to the shoulders. However, if you don't experience this sensation it doesn't mean ASMR isn't for you! ASMR is great for helping people calm down, de-stress, relax, helps with anxiety, depression, insomnia and so much more!!

What makes this More Immersive, is that 173 doesn’t move when looked at so the Camera never moving is COMPLETELY accurate

Fun fact: Despite the similarities, the Weeping Angels and SCP-173 were independently invented at roughly the same time.
@@JackEverfree except that isn’t a fact and that there is no confirmation that it’s a coincidence. Nor is there anything that says it isn’t. We just don’t know. But as the situation stands it’s slightly more believable & more likely to be based off of the weeping angels.

you were able to hold the tension in this scene for 24 minutes. I was genuinely invested in your safety and feeling mistrustful of your unblinking helpers. Being able to pull this off on your own shows serious talent. Writing, acting, staging and ASMR to boot. Kinda wonder if you and Goodnight moon would be able to make some magic together. This is such an interesting trigger - the "what am I?" feeling as she goes about her experiments... totally tingly. Now I have to watch all her other SPC Foundation videos haha!

The way you describe SCP-173 it sounds very much like a Weeping Angel! They too can only move when not being looked at and appear to be made from stone. They are time-locked and can't move when looked at by anybody. The biggest rule when dealing with weeping angels is... Don't Blink! Blink and you're dead! Much in the same manner as SCP-173.
