    Maybe the plastic film cover is still on the infrared spot on projector. That's why it's not reading the signal from the remote properly. Please check that.

    Very good video my friend. Just liked and subbed. I am using a BenQ 1280X800 (WXGA) projector right now and I am debating the upgrade to a 4K or 1080p one. Do not get me wrong the WXGA resolution is OK but as I am using it exclusively for gaming with a pc and a PS4 Pro I am looking at something better. Looking forward to your future videos. Greetings from Greece!

      Hey Kujo VanArk, thank you and thanks for watching. For me, testing the HD144X and now the TK800M I can really tell the difference. Of course, it's more expensive but the image quality is so much sharper even though it's using pixel shift. Last night we watched Terminator Dark Fate (4K) on this with a couple of friends. Everybody was pretty impressed, including me.

    OPTOMA is one of the best in regards to picture quality but sadly the fan, noise coupled with the color wheel whine cancels it out, I would love to have a optima but not with that fan noise its a total deal-breaker, I hope they address this insane oversight soon as I am sure it will boost their sales considerably and I can buy one.

    • @b00bytrap
      @b00bytrap  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey xavier goutenoir, thanks for watching. This projector has both manual and digital zoom.
      With manual zoom, you have to adjust the image size on the projector itself by moving the zoom wheel to left or right.
      This is mechanical as you have to adjust the lens manually (optical).
      If it has a button or menu setting to enlarge the image size (like this one in 9:40), then it's digital. Digital zoom will affect the image quality.

    • @Pidalin
      @Pidalin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's visible like hell in that game. I don't like all those chromatic aberations and similar things, so I still can't make decision if DLP or LCD. LCD projector makers are saying how perfect it is now, but they are saying that 15 years, same like TV producers and it's still just LCD, little better than 10 years ago, but it's still just LCD, so I don't really trust to them, but that rainbow effect of DLP projectors really scares me. People say that LCD projectors have problem with grey black, but you have this problem even in real cinema, it can't be so bad as black on IPS LCD.

      Hey Craig Noteboom, thanks for watching. Sorry, I should have covered daylight viewing. It's bright enough to watch something on it in a well-lighted room but the image quality gets quite dim and grey so you lose most contrast. • @b00bytrap
      @b00bytrap  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tesla Cyber Truck, thanks for watching. That's because of the Halogen light bulb that's in this (and every other DLP) projector. It's quite normal but it will need room for ventilation so don't block the exhaust, and once you're done using it, make sure to let it cool down so don't cut it off from power. It can damage the light bulb.
