- Part 22. Alan is hiding in the Women's washroom having changed back to the male persuasion. He finally exits when there's nobody waiting for the loo. He dumps the hideous dress into the garbage. Captain Lewis tells Anna that the divers have stopped for the night and they still haven't found anything. Anna find Lila and Edward's reactions strange but Monica is taking it really hard. Monica is at the gatehouse drinking alone when Sean finds her. Sean warns her that drinking is going to hurt her long before it'll help. Monica is in a bad way...and blaming herself for being a bad wife. Sean tries to tell her that Alan was responsible for 50% of the bad marriage. Monica responds by telling Sean not to criticize Alan. Monica starts feeling guilty about shipping the kids off to camp too.
For those of us Quartermaine fans who have resented the fact that the current show has not shown Monica grieving for Alan, this is more of what we wanted to see. Monica mourning her husband. Take notes current writers...

Grieving?! I'm sorry - but was Monica kissing her lover in this scene..or did I imagine that. Grieving... Hmmm.... Okay, I'll concede that she was a little sad - but you'd think if she was so sad about her husband she's skip kissing her boyfriend.
She was also drunk.
Yes, she was a lousy wife and mother! Rick. AJ. Her one good point was accepting Jason. Later, both paid for their kids. Sean has a lot of nerve...
By the way, I like this particular music cue. Slightly cheesy 80's - but nice riff for this mood.
It's actually the co-currently running storyline line as this one. He's Mr. Big... he's Duke's boss but Duke doesn't know it. In fact, the Duke storyline, Sean starts to nose around Duke and that's when Bert pressures Anna into arresting Sean for Alan's murder.... but you'll see that later. You don't actually realize why this is happening until you find out who Mr. Big is.
Hmmm...it works for me. It doesn't resume after a little wait time? Do you have the latest version of Flash?
