I noticed you didn't add a layer over dirt over the tarp before adding the moss. Isn't this going to make the moss roof less affective? My thought is that the moss doesn't have anything to grow and bind into with only the plastic tarp under it. With a layer of dirt, it can latch on and hold tighter and continue to draw nutrients to grow thicker, no?
Beautiful job very creative and I love the video but one thing I would love to see and a lot of other videos don't show is the inside. Maybe you inside preparing something to eat or going to sleep would be really nice. And it shows the whole function of your build. Consider that next time. Again I love the video. Good luck
the garden is gonna be terraced, that creek *looked dry..?? very nice build though, those joints were tight AF. Do you prefer Hudson Bay or Bearded hatchet heads. I've been using a 14" Bearded for a couple decades, love it. Forest Spirit 5stars for excellent Craftmanship.
Hi, I love the videos. I would like to see more of this build as time progresses, to see how it holds up to weather. I was thinking that you could have made a cold storage area on the right side where the wing of the roof is. I hope all is well with you and I hope to see more vids like this. Thanks and be one with Mother Nature. ❤👍👍👍
Your skills are endless! Very impressive work you've done. You're a pleasure to watch. Always looking forward your videos! Thank you for sharing with us.
Very interested in doing one myself starting by the end of this spring, id like to know how long this took and if you have any tips to help me get started. Im only 16 but i have lived in the forest all my life and have always dreamed of building something as cool as this. Thanks 🤘
What are you using as mortar between the stones? Is it just clay soil or is their cement or lime in the mix too? An amazing build. I have a sloped garden sonI am desperate to try this. Best vudeo I have seen.👏👏👏👏👏
This is my first time watching your video. I think your build is absolutely amazing! I love your creativeness and attention to detail. I also look forward to watching your next adventure. You look very young to have developed so many bushcraft skills. Good job!
2:25 I somehow missed that part of how he locked those logs on the perdendicular ones. Did he use nails? If yes, then that isn't building a house with natural resources.
What a beautiful shelter! Don't hate me, but I saw 1 mistake. The diagonal on the door. The top needs to be on the hinge side to be useful. It's meant to stop the door from sagging on the outer edge. Every young man makes that mistake. Is it for rent? 🤓 BEAUTIFUL SHELTER.
No, he had it right. You want that brace under compression. Just think about it, if you put your weight on the outside top of the door, the closer that is to the brace, the more structural integrity you'll have. So you want all the weight that is above the outer bottom edge to be transferring its weight into the hinge instead of underneath itself, which would give you the sag. Although, to be honest, without top and bottom braces to properly frame up the square, I dont think that cross brace is going to do as much as it should regardless of orientation.
Very nice. Functional but attractive. Thank you for sharing. From USA.

Every challenge in nature is a valuable lesson in perseverance
One of the most creative and impressive builds here on YT. I always appreciate the masonry work and this was outstanding. Well done!
Well designed with more attention given to stability than other builds.
Note..the trees were already dead. This dugout will make someone in the future a very nice home. The day is coming.

Nice work son!
Quality craftmanship
I appreciate your work and I like the aesthetic but I am curious why you chose to build the roof so far into the project?

Should have put soil down on the roof first...then the mossy grass...so it would have something to root into.
Like 👍 ❤
I'm curious how long these kind of walls would hold up in a 4 seasons type climate
Did he completely block off access to the smaller areas on each side ?
liked & subbed
Outstanding work ❤
THANK YOU

I can't even make a small controlled fire in thw forest while camping. Not even talking about cutting down trees to build this.

tuyệt vời quá
🎉🎉🎉🎉 good

Lot of concrete?
How long did this take
I was wondering the same
A few months, because the weather conditions often interfered and it was difficult to do everything alone
Wonder how he cut the table top. Didn't see any saws of the necessary size. Hard to do with the saw he had, but perseverance would suffice for that.
Where do you get the big wood for the table?
Are there no termites in poland?
guapoooooooooooo
I’ve always wondered how the moss on the roof looks after like 2 months. Does it all die
Pretty sure if you put dirt over the plastic tarp then put your moss over the dirt, the moss will attach to the dirt and live. I may be wrong though
👍👍👍
Are you using concrete
The table top?

In Italia dopo 10 minuti arriva la forestale, ti fa rimettere tutto a posto e ti fa pure la multa. 😅 E fa bene...
damn fine work, i enjoyed watching ur bushcraft skills
If you can buy a pipe why don't you also buy cement or a tent ?¿
First time it rains... 😂
❤
❤🇬🇪🇵🇭👍
NIce build but a horrible place to put a long term structure. It will be washed away in a few rainy seasons.
👍🏻❤
How did he hide that big chimney pipe in his backpack when he started the video 😂😂😂
