I'm currently looking at various mods to quieten down the motion system on my vcore3.1 300. I've just got all the parts to do the FMMM mod and motor decouplers. Would this mod allow me to use the standard EVA carriage (latest version)? I hate the original tensioning. I want to be able to adjust the belts from the front rather than behind the carriage.
I'm sure it is possible. It is built for 30x30 extrusion. Full cad is available from the link in description from the github page. So anyone can edit as required.
Ebb36 makes for a simple hot end control with one USB cable. Beacon probe I find is way more reliable and accurate compared to a klicky. PLA printer, I have a voron for ABS enclosed. Extra belt for future proof and to make adjustments easy.
@@jc84com ah ok I see the 3.1 enclosure has it removed. My version (3.0) doesn't. Lol I have been going out of my mind trying to get it installed. I suppose there is no hope for the legacy 3.0 enclosure is there?
I don't understand? the Extrusion is 30x30 The part PA_XY_IDLER_TENSION_SHARED_ - TENSIONER_ARM_LEFT_X1 where the pully sits is 29.6 its 0.4 under size if anything. Hit me up on discord and you can help me understand.

Yes, I do find the steppers very loud on this build compared to my voron . Both ore not using any stealthchop

PLA at 33mm3 at 248c
TPU at 10mm3 at 240c
That tensor looks great! It should work on other 3d printers using 4040 extrusion, right?

Its a modified VZbot tool head that vz designed for ratrig. I made a alum plate version now from the printed version CAD.

Beacon attaches to the official VZ bot printable head. However it only mounts on the Goliath cooler duct.

Why are you using the EBB36? Why is the Beacon probe a game changer? Why don't you have an enclosure? Why is there so much extra belt in the hot end?

The spacing at the pulley arms is greater than the length of the pulleys with spacers and washers. Difference 2.5mm in Fusion360
